JBL GX328 3-1/2" Coaxial Car Audio Loudspeakers

Great product for a Tacoma 2024 no JBL system but make sure to buy wire harness Metra 72-8114 I had trouble finding this harness for my car but got it finally and works awesome. Also buy the adapter plates. Good luck 👍🏼

Literally five minutes per side to swap out the anemic dash tweeters for these in my 2014 Rav4. Big improvement. On some music the midrange was essentially missing. Vocals a thousand miles away. This easy swap fixed that. Excellent, inexpensive upgrade. Don't forget the Red Wolf harness adapters.

JBL 3.5" GX328 I'm a huge audio guy, I've heard JBL before but never installed in a car. One word, WOW! These are amazing!! Fits in MINI Cooper R56 with a adapter bracket. Very clear, loud, and punchy. Great to power off OEM power. Top right speaker in picture

Lexus RX350 2024 fits the front dash speakers. Just need the adapter cable. Took 15 mins to install. In and out. Does fit the second hole for screw, one is tight enough, but I used 3M automotive tape to keep it in place and prevent any vibrations noises from the plastic it’s hanging on. The sound is overall a big upgrade or the base version. The JBL vs stock is like double the size lol. I also tweaked the sound tuning. It sounds great for my current in music with K-pop. I was thinking about adding my sub back in but this kind of fill enough sound to satisfy me.

Install note: For the 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma you need to trim the dash openings and use a self tapping screw for the forward most hole. I used a large, heavy duty utility knife and some end snippers, the plastic is relatively soft and easy to carve a little at a time. The factory grilles fit over perfectly once you get the speakers positioned. As far as an upgrade it’s worth every penny of 55 dollars. The factory JBL dash speakers had no clarity compared to these and they really livened up the theater of sound in the truck. They’re a tad louder than the others and they retain the 2 ohm impedance of stock JBL. I measured 2.3 ohms per speaker. Biggest change was better highs, some midrange and much better clarity. When listening to digital media, the sound is more theater like even with the remaining speakers still stock. I’m hearing the nice lows from the doors now too, this will keep me happy until I have the means to build something special.

These speakers are louder than my door speakers, best quality for dash speakers!

I installed these in my '13 4Runner with the factory JBL system. I was a little worried about how they would sound with the factory amplifier, but they sound great. Their 2.3 ohm impedance is close enough to the impedance of the OEM speakers. They are pretty much the only ones you can find with an impedance that low, as most are 4 ohms. Definitely much better than the blown stock speakers!

I replaced the dash speakers with these 3.5 GX328's. The sound is much improved. I must also add that I replaced all 4 6x9's with JBL GTO939 GTO Series 6x9" and added a JBL BassPro Nano 6" Powered Subwoofer using a AudioControl LC1i. Big improvement over the factory Infinity 276 watt system speakers. I would caution Charger owners to consider getting 6x9' that truly match the factory hole pattern. The JBL 6x9's ALMOST fit exactly, but I did have to adapt them to fit. I don't know if any do though.
