DRY Base Rock 15 Lbs Premium Caribbean Saltwater Aquarium Fiji Nano

I didn't want to spend a ton of money on 80-100 lbs of live rock. I decided to get base rock and supplement it with live rock to get things going. I ordered two boxes ( 30 lbs total) for first layers of base rock in my new 75 gallon set up. One box had about 8 medium-to-large pieces, the other had about 15 small-to medium pieces. They probably did it this way because I ordered two. I would have been happy either way- if the pieces were too large, I was going to hit them with a sledge. I attached photos of my order after unwrapping, and one after placing in tank ( cloudy water due to stirring things up!) There are a couple pieces of live rock in there, too- I got them to help cycle the tank. Each piece was wrapped in wet newspaper; the pieces were placed in a heavy trash bag inside the box.The rock is beautiful- white with red- similar to the photo in the Amazon listing. I'll be interested to see if anything revives on it. I was expecting bare coral- this is not as "live" looking as the live rock, but it was kept moist enough something might be there.I know there some bad reviews, but I am very pleased and plan to order another 30 pounds in May.

This dry rock is just as beautiful as the wet rock Premium Caribbean sells. Once I added it to my aquarium, it only took a couple of weeks before I couldn't distinguish it from the rest. I've only had good experiences with this seller, and I've bought from them 3 times.

Very nice rock, looks great and seems to not grow algae as easily as other rock.
