Woodlink Traditional Wren House - Natural Cedar Bird House

nice birdhouse, well built and love the cedar look. what i did with this new bird house as well as my last wren house is drill a quarter inch hole below the one inch hole and put a piece of quarter inch wood dole rod, which i glue in for the wrens to have a perch to land on. this helps them get in and out of the bird house easier.

We were looking for an additional wren nesting box to hang on the other side of our house. This one fits the need perfectly! Sturdy, well made, and just the right size entry way helps protect baby House Wrens from larger birds and predators. A pair of House Wrens moved in within two weeks after we installed the nesting box, and soon after there was another family of baby wrens! We would purchase this product again!

I was so happy with your bird house and construction and had wrens take up occupancy right away. However, sparrows came along and took over their house. Feel your bird hole was too big and allowed bigger birds to invade.l My daughter has a bird house and she said our hole is too large allowing other birds to take over. l Could you address this.l I so would like to get wrens back as I love wrens and their melodic and happy songs.

I bought two different Woodlink wren houses early this year, and wrens quickly made both of them home, exactly as I had hoped! (I love their singing.) They are both attractive, seem well-built, and I'm glad they're both made in the USA. Recommendation: Buy and install copper portals to keep the hole size as-is, if you want only wrens. Late in the summer, a small woodpecker took a liking to the other one and began working open up the hole size. This house has a 1" diameter hole. Although I did not see a portal this size on Woodlink's site, I did find this from another online source.

and I said little birdie won't you wait, wait wait....(a little song my Grandmother used to sing to me) She always had a birdhouse for wrens and I've lived in her home for the last 10 years and finally decided to put one up. This particular product is well built and American made. It's sturdy, it's a very nice size and it looks 'real'. Some fancy birdhouses are made to look cute but not really suitable for birds. This one is. I love it and it fits in with its natural surroundings. STapled to the back are instructions about cleaning, etc. I'll remove these and keep in the drawer for future maintenance.

Nice little birdhouse, I am rarely impressed anymore w the cheap way they make stuff but this is a well built, heavy, sturdy little house. I think it was out of cedar n there is no overwhelming odor as some consumers have noted on other houses. I haven't had any wrens yet, it's only been up a few days but I can't see a mommy wren not loving this sturdy little house for her family. I may buy more. Thank you.
