where are the instructions?

The lamp that I received had the instructions in the box with the lamp.

I threw them away after I put it together. The instructions were minimal. It will definitely take you more time—but I think you will be able to figure it out by looking at the pictures online.

Our lamp is no longer working. Is there a kit we can buy to replace the cord and base where the bulb screws in? We don't want to have to get rid of it

I’d go to a local hardware store and ask for help in lighting section. Ask for replacement wiring or a kit. Should be able to do this.
