Got 2 printers for 10 dollars with no power cord. This is what it took 2 get them working.

I should have checked it better!
I had just moved and lost my OE cord and got this one to replace it. I plugged it in but never use it. Huge mistake. I finally needed something printed and printer wouldn't come on. After further inspection the end that plugs into the computer has 3 holes that the pins in the printer slide into upon connection. The metal connecter is missing in the far right hole in the cord making it useless. I fully agree I should have tested this thing when I got it, however if the part was well made the connecter wouldn't have been missing.

The plug was almost identical, but had an extra tine that my receptical didn't. I trimmed the time off with an exacto knife and it fit nicely, but the printer doesn't function. It gets power, but brings up another error. I don't know if it's plug related.
