Love this watercolor palette! There are plenty of wells and it comes with a lid so that watercolors and acrylics stay moist. Not a mess when traveling to and from class or site.

My watercolor teacher introduced me to this palette in class one day, and I ordered several -- some for myself, and some to give as gifts. I like the multiple mixing wells much better than the single large space on my old palette. The only thing I could do without is the brush tray at one end. I would have liked all the space to have been used for paints and for mixing wells.

It's OK. The size is nice, and it has a lot of pots and wells for mixing paint - so that's a plus. The top is flimsy and I don't expect it to last through too many uses. The tray itself is fairly sturdy. It's larger than I thought - but that's my bad for not reading the description. I'd say go ahead and get it if you're a beginner and don't plan on taking it out to do any field studies.

This is a good palette as it has lots of deviders and good space for mixing, unfortunately, the lid is not tight enough for traveling. All my colors spilled in the bag. Good for keeping in the studio.
