He was versatile enough to do folk songs, blues, covers of old-time rock 'n' roll songs, and some original material, all of them in his own unique style. Rivers' greatest success came in the mid and late 1960s with a string of hit songs, 'Seventh Son', 'Poor Side of Town' and 'Secret Agent Man'. BGO Records.

Great albums.
Great deal. Only bad thing is that disc is thick and gets stuck in my auto cd player. Every where else plays fine.

Convert his albums to mp3!
Liked his later songs but wish his CD were available in mp3 format for bluetooth. The album cover on my cars bluetooth player shows his most dorkiest picture and was unrecognizable!

Very good value
I had been looking for A touch of Gold on cd for awhile and was very happy to find it, plus a whole bonus recording that I'd never heard before. Going Back to Big Sur is my favorite Johnny Rivers song, especially since going there. I don't think there were any songs that I did not like.
