Tangle Teezer Magic Flowerpot Hairbrush for Kids, Princess Pink

I was a skeptic but a desperate one. My daughter hates having her hair brushed. Her father refuses to do it because he can't stand her screaming and sometimes throwing up in the sink. To me $20 is a lot to spend on a kids brush but this brush is worth its weight in gold. It is her "magic" brush and she loves it. She sits still while I brush her hair and even tries brushing her own hair. To be honest it does snag once in awhile but I believe its because our daughter gets carpet fuzz in her hair but over all as long as you take your time and brush normally it does get the snarls out pain free. Don't expect the snarl to come out in one swipe though. It gently works its way through so prepare to brush through a snarl with patience. We have had it for 2 weeks and I wouldn't go without it. Our daughter has long wavy hair that is thick and last night she went to sleep with it pretty damp. She woke up this morning with more tangles than I was prepared to brush. The little flower brush came through with flying colors. She even let her little brother brush her hair and after a quick lesson about GENTELY placing the brush on sissy's head she sat there giggling as he brushed her hair. If your on the fence or need a great brush for your kids, this is it!!

This brush really does work well. We have tried a lot of chemicals to 'detangle' the hair, but this seems to work the best. How does it work? The bristles are very flexible, and they bend, so when you drag it through that tangled hair, it gives a little pressure, but does not break the hair ripping it, the brush will give way before the hair does. This makes it pain free. repeated brushing opens up the tangles and you will quickly have long, tangle free hair. Highly recommend it. This brush gave our daughter the independence to start to comb her own hair, and my wife the freedom from chasing her down and doing it for her. Now we take care of it with no chemicals. Double win.

Bought for my 4-yr old, who I 'used' to fight with every morning to brush her long, curly hair. It works great! Pain free. Happy girl! She is even able to brush her hair herself with it. Didn't give 5-stars due to it's odd shape! Great for just simple brushing, but desperately needs a handle. If you're wanting to put in a pony tail, it's hard to hold the brush and hair at the same time. I understand that if it had a handle, it wouldn't go well with the cute little put that comes with it. But even the ones without pots are an odd shape!! Think it will be a 5-star product with a handle :-)

My wife and daughter (6 y/o at purchase) absolutely love this item, as do I! Before purchasing it, the morning hair brushing was an absolute nightmare. There was screaming, cajoling, arguing, and frustration - not to mention tears, and not always my very stubborn daughter's! Enter the Tangle Teezer. Right out of the box, my daughter loved the cute design, and she was excited to try it after having seen the adult version featured on our local TV station's nightly "product test." The next morning's brushing was a dream. No snags or pulling hair, so no screaming, arguing, or delays in getting ready. Everyone left for work and school much less stressed! It really does seem to work as advertised, especially with her very fine, easily knotted hair. So far, after months of use, no sign of root tangles or split ends. Her hair looks nice, she continues to cooperate - most mornings - and we continue to feel this was an excellent purchase!

I’ve been using tangle teasers for years for my super fine hair. I remember my friend bought me a wet brush and I was blown away. Then I randomly found tangle teasers and I haven’t touched the wet brush since. Nothing else helps brush my hair without breaking it. Now I have my own daughter and she has long fine hair that knots up if a soft breeze hits it. So I wanted to give her her very own TT brush. This one is amazing!! Beautiful! She loves it and it fits in her own hand perfectly so she can practice brushing it herself.

Amazing - I am seriously still in awe that this works! We would go through a bottle of detangler every month and there were still tears every time we had to brush my daughter's hair. Even when using conditioner it was a fight. Somehow I found out about this brush and impressed by the reviews decided it was worth a try - I am so glad I did! I even use it on my own hair now. I am not really sure HOW it works but it does - glides through my daughter's hair, no knots and no tears!! It is amazing!! :)

Found it works best on wet hair only.

Pros: Works amazing. Combing my daughter's hair was always a struggle because the tangles made her cry. Because the bristles are so flexible, you can get the tangles out without tears. This makes getting ready for school easier by a factor of 10. Cons: Because the bristles are so flexible, they permanently bend over a few months and it has to be replaced.

This product was recommended by family in London since they used for their daughter who is 9. Now my daughter who is 4 so happy to have her own brush that she can use without Mummy's or Daddy's help and doesn't cause her scream at us. It works better on wet hair. Her hair now looks much better. Apparently, it was turned down on the UK Dragon's Den. My guess is that the quality product doesn't look that robust which is why I marked it down. I will probably look at the other Tangle Teezer products to see if they are better made.

Es muy bonito el cepillo, a mi hija le ilusiona y eso ayuda a que se deje peinar, si desenreda muy bien el cepillo, sin lastimar tanto. por alguna razón pensé que cerraba con el vaso y podia usarlo para guardar ahí las ligas para viajes o traerlo en la bolsa, pero no cierran, el cepillo se sobrepone únicamente

Me encanta aparte del diseño y que se puede poner en el centro de la flor una foto o dibujo , está genial porque no da tirones ninguno lo llevo utilizando desde que mi bebe tiene 13 meses y los demás cepillos de bebe le tiraban del pelo y más cuando tenía algún nudo, son ideales tanto para pelo mojado como seco desenreda sin dolor es genial aunque un poco caro merece la pena

Recommended for little girls with knotty hair who hate brushing it. Bought for my 7 year old stepdaughter who has waist length hair who HATES her hair being brushed. As it is not our choice how long her hair is this was a desperation purchase. It is great. She can now brush her hair herself- and does (when asked anyway!). It takes a little longer (more brush strokes) to get through the hair as it slowly teases the knots out, as the name suggests. But it does go through the hair. I was sceptical about the no handle- there is another make that has a handle that is similar which her mum bought her. We have found this one much better. A young girl doesn't have that much wrist strength (or the intuition of how to direct what she has) so the longer handled brush means she doesn't penetrate her hair much with the brush. This one however, her hand is directly over where she is brushing and it is much more effective. the little flower pot and pink colour engaged her and she keeps her hair bands in the pot. The only limitation is that I do not find this great for brushing wet hair.I think the heavy hair and lots of knots means the bristles just bend. It would get there eventually but take an age. Then I tend to stick to a regular brush combined with leave in conditioner which does the job without too much time or fuss. I hoe this makes your life easier too!!
