It is a nice off white, with very subtle gold highlights woven into it.It's generously cut, so it is easy to put on and very comfortable.If you have hair loss for any reason a nice head scarf helps uplift the spirits, for me anyway. Of course for smaller heads, like mine, this was a good thing because it tosses on easily and never needs to be tied. The matrial was soft, breathable and slightly shear without being to see through. I also liked that it was simple with a nice texture so it could be worn with a variety of outfits. Normally, I like to post a pic of myself on these reviews but I tossed it on my daughter for her Greek dancing performance and it worked so well and was so cute, this is her instead.
