Screen is amazing, storage more than adequate and super light.

I'm a student and do a lot with engineering, chemistry, and related clubs. So far, I have not had any trouble running 3D software, calculation software, adobe products, or anything of that nature on this laptop. I love the ability of the touch screen and the option to pop off the screen to use as a tablet. I gave this four stars though, because I envisioned myself using the touch screen in all my classes and writing my notes down in tablet form. This has not been easy and I've given up trying to achieve this especially when I need to write fast to keep up in class. If I'm studying by myself, I can practice patience and fix whatever the screen senses or doesn't sense. I use Microsoft OneNote for note taking and the screen can freak out and draw streaks across the screen that I didn't make, so I wouldn't depend on it in a fast-paced lecture or anything. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase though and I would probably buy again if given the choice. Hope this helps!

everything works well and it does everything i needed it to do like gaming and watching vids

This is a high-powered model, with a high-end video card and CPU, and it needs much, much better cooling. After installing some apps, I closed the lid and leaned it against a table-leg so it would have air circulation on both top and bottom. After 90 minutes of charging, with no apps running, the lid was so hot it was almost painful to the touch. Even if this is "normal," it's so hot that the electronics can't possibly last as long as they should. I have laptops that still work fine after 6-10 years, but I can't imagine this one lasting even 2 at these operating temperatures. If I were doing heavy graphics (I bought it to run Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign, etc.) and also charging the battery -- which would be necessary considering the load on the graphics card and the CPU -- I think it would damage itself in short order. Reports of yellowed LCDs, de-laminated displays, etc., turn out to be pretty common on the web. The fans are so thin and tiny that there doesn't seem to be any way they could provide adequate cooling for this much processing power. I returned it immediately and received a full refund, thanks to Amazon's returns policy.

Packaging was sketchy...didnt seem to be straight from Microsoft. Can't determine if this is a new device. After running updates, can finally see that the GPU is as advertised. Hopefully no more issues.

I wanted to give Microsoft a fair shake but I will be returning this computer due to their confusing and confrontational tech support. When I get my refund, I'll just purchase an Apple instead. Problem solved:)
