BETAZOOER Acrylic Reptile Terrarium Breeding Tank Enclosure 11.4"x7.7"x5.9"

I wanted something light weight to stack on top of my dumpy frog tank to move this little tomato friend into since surface space is precious in our small home. I took the chance on this acrylic tank in the largest size and so far I'm pleased with it! It did take a little while of peeling since the acrylic boards come un-peeled and the paper-y film does not want to come off in single satisfying sheets but rather tears around all the holes and connector puzzle piece edges. I do make acrylic charms as part of my art business however so peeling acrylic is something I'm quite used to but if you aren't this could get easily frustrating. The instructions are barebones which isn't an issue since it is literally a box except for when it comes to the top 'lock' tabs that are screwed in to the lid, they just show basically a picture of: tab piece + screw + vague area that might be the lid or the side which sounds like it would be enough but given the tab was facing a completely different direction in the illustration than how it actually goes on it did give me a few moments of problem solving. That said it wasn't a huge deal. I placed a clear plastic sheet in the bottom of the tank with a few inches extra folded up against each wall to form a "bowl" since I wasn't entirely sure how well this thing would hold water around the seams if Mr.Motato decided to go for a big splashy swim time or for whatever reason a water spill got down that far. You could also just use a bit of aquarium silicone sealant if you wanted something more permanent/effective but this solution means I can break it down flat again if I want to. The temp/humidity gauge seems very slow. It said 77degrees for nearly the entire day after getting it out of the box despite it being in a 71degree area. It was already on for some reason in the package and it was around 77 outside where the box was left so likely it was stuck thinking it was that temp due to a slow read. This morning it is saying 74degrees which is more likely given we have the house at around 71degrees and he does have a tiny hermit crab heater on the opposite side that should be shifting the heat up a little bit. Not sure exactly how accurate it is though. The humidity % changes much more readily. Overall not too worried about this since these things are fairly cheap to replace. I like the nearly seamless look of the acrylic tank, it gives a very clean/clear look to the whole set-up which I think looks a lot nicer than the alternative glass with front doors and a big black strip at the top, bottom and middle (exo-terra and zilla styles) I normally go with. It's not as heavy duty for sure but for a raised bachelor pad this was the right tank. Keep in mind that if you need to heat these you are going to want a HERMIT CRAB under tank heater, those are the only UTHs that are rated for use on any plastic/acrylic tanks. Other heaters may damage the acrylic and even release nasty fumes if they get too hot. So far the hermit crab heater i got for 13 bucks at petco has been working great under the raised tank. Overall this was a great buy, it's one of the largest acrylic tanks you can get on amazon, comes with the essential heat/humidity gauge, looks sleek, and the price is good for what you get. Most importantly my grumpy little boy seems happy!

That protective film is almost too protective. Took forever to get off. However product is wonderful. Put together well and shipped on time. Will be buying again

Perfect for my hissers! I sealed the bottom to ensure no leaks when dampening the soil. And so far so good. They seem super content in the new enclosure. Definitely a step up from what they came in!

Easy to assemble, but the quality of the Acrylic is not very good. The top of part tends to bend over time like with in a few months. The soft plastic cap on top is not very secure which has led to a few escapes from both my tarantula and scorpion. Be careful how much water you put on the substrate as it will leak from the bottom.

I was going to use this terrarium for my black headed centipede, but the air holes were too big and I caught it shortly after it escaped. However, it suited my Santo Domingo Goliath tarantula just fine with more floor space. Now the centipede is in the goliath’s old cage without an escape route. So everything worked out great in the end. The terrarium is easy to assemble. It is good value for money considering it comes with a thermometer, hygrometer combo gauge. Haven’t cleaned it yet. Perhaps a few months down the road. ;). Would recommend. You may want to apply aquarium silicone to the bottom edges and corners as the joints are not water tight, in the event that you are keeping a super moist or semi-aquatic species.

GUYS!! DO ME A FAVOR AND PLEASE DON’T BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! very unstable and falls apart easily to the point my millipedes escaped and now they’re gone. Some how at night the top fell on the enclosure and part of the side came undone. I took no pictures because in a panic I tried to find them under the fallen piece. I am so upset and furious that babies have escaped. I know the bug community and reptile community cares deeply about their babies so I know that the community feels my passionate heartbreak as my babies have left due to this un-sturdy and flimsy enclosure. I gave this product a chance because it was on the cheaper side (big mistake) and since it was bigger than the tank I currently have . From now on I will buy a more expensive tank for my babies if that means my millipedes will be safe.

Easy to assemble, good quality, fast delivery, great price

I ordered two of these tanks for my pacman frogs. They started out strong, but within two weeks started sagging and warping so much that they became unusable. They never leaked, which was good... The acrylic also never melted from the heat pad... However the high humidity warped the acrylic so much that the panels on the sides and tops started bowing inwards. A couple of the elastic bands that hold the panels together also snapped due to the bowing/humidity. I had to use HVAC tape to keep the two top pieces together due to the bowing. I ended up tossing both after 3 weeks and replacing with glass tanks. Overall it these are a waste of money for me :(. Skip if you need them for an animal that requires high humidity. Small animals will be able to escape through gaps in the top lid unless you use HVAC tape, or something of the like, to keep them together.

I have been looking for clean, clear, affordable acrylic enclosures for years. The Exo Terras are expensive, and they have screen tops that aren't optimal for spiders. These have tons of cross ventilation, are easy to set up and are big enough for pretty much any species of tarantula. Lid swings open on top, and is all smooth acrylic. I'll be buying a bunch more of these but honestly, they are so perfect for tarantulas that they really should advertise it as such.

These were so simple to build. They look so sleek and very functional. I absolutely love these i wish they came in taller options for my climbing 8 legged friends. Edit: finally got one of my guys set up in here and i love it even more! Now i really want bigger ones
