Or synthetic gardenia essence ?** A: Real gardenia concentrate is one of the most expensive ingredients available in perfumery . It was used during the early part of the twentieth century but now it is seldom produced. Chances are this perfume is made with a synthetic version or a mixture of other florals to reproduce the gardenia scent. Of course , I don’t know for sure but I’d be willing to bet these perfumes aren’t made with real gardenias. **Q: Would you say the gardenia scent truly stands out ?
