Each individual die incrementally in standard AWG e.g., 16 = #4, 25 = #3 ... 240 = 500 MCM. Hope this helps! **Q: Will this tool work to crimp brass ferrals to hold 1/4 inch air hose to the barbed air hose fittings on my inflator hoses?** A: The dies do not go that small. To crimp #8 and #6 wire I put two larger dies in backwards, tightened them and drilled a hole between the back side of the two dies for the correct size. This was easy to do and worked well. I assume you can do the same thing for your air hose need. It may take a little experimenting. Good luck **Q: what is the warranty?** A: Not sure, but I bought mine through the seller "Super buy". There was a non-critical part missing (the spring & ball bearing to keep the pin that holds the dies in place) & they promptly offered to refunded me a few bucks rather than deal with it. I'm quite satisfied with that for a non-critical issue. I'll either live with it, or eventually drill out the hole the pin & bearing fit in & use a cotter pin. **Q: Can this tool crimp a solid #6 wire to a 5/8 ground rod** A: It depends on the size of the crimping ferrule.
