Is this knife made in the USA?

All Case knives are made in the USA.

Just purchased a a mini trapper with “cv” steel. i received a knife with a 3207 cs stamp. what does this mean?

Could be “Carbon Steel”. Not entirely sure. You could always call or write Case and they’d be more than happy to let you know. They have great customer service.

Does this synthetic last or is it worth paying up a little for the other models?

The synthetic that Case uses is very durable, it certainly won’t crack if you drop like any bone type material would. I’d say if you use a knife hard, toss it around, prone to dropping it etc., then it’s probably the most practical handle material. Obviously it’s not as nice as a bone handle, well that’s just my opinion.

Is the min trapper a good edc knife. I am no hunter or anything?

Yes it is but it is one of the bigger trapper knives
