Perfect for Mexican train. The ones that come with the set is rubbish. this is a nice piece of real wood. Highly recommend

Adds a nice Touch
An excellent addition to the game. Similar size to the piece of plastic that comes with the basic game, but this hub is solid, well-made, and adds an element of quality that the tiles deserve. Holds the tiles more solidly and allows a better view of the center double tile. Well worth the cost of adding it to the game materials.

it works good in one way but the other two trains wont stay up on the board they fall off because not enough room for them to set .

Great addition if playing Mexican Train Dominoes regularly
The hub that comes with a Mexican Dominoes set is flat and flimsy but will last if you take care of it while playing and during storage. We host game night regularly so upgraded to this wooden hub which offers a nice elevated spot for the key domino, and yes the cutout was large enough as were the cutouts for the domino trains . We give 5 stars based on cost vs what we received and it being ready for play without any modification. It is made of standard lightweight wood sanded then covered with lacquer so it won't stain nor get wet if someone spills something on the table nor does it move easily during play. The game only came with 4 markers and we needed 8 so ordered different game markers from Amazon that were plastic and stood upright for easier handling.

La finition du bois n'est pas à tout casser, mais ça fait bien la job. Je ne verrais pas essayer d'en construire un moi-même. À ce prix-là, ça vaut la peine. Je le recommande fortement. :)
