These are very comfortable to wear. I use them because I injured a finger on my right hand (broken bone plus torn tendons) and even though it’s healed the joint and tendons get sore and ache. These really help with support and ease the ache. They fit well and are easy to hand wash and clean as needed.

Originally had bought a few of these, along with other products, in hopes of helping with capsulitis/synovitis in one finger I had really strained. But I didn't use anything consistently, so it got better and worse and then evolved into trigger finger. Because I had found these helpful in reducing further damage, and the most comfortable option, I bought this larger package, and now also sometimes use them on other degrading fingers. I thought the gray would be less distracting than black with whatever I wear, but the sizing makes the gray less usable for me (explanation below). For the sleeves that happen to be the right size, they give mild compression support to the joint. They provide a physical reminder to not overbend my trigger finger. They will also help keep the joint warm. I have also found them useful to protect a finger against blistering when using a tool that exerts a lot of heavy rubbing on the finger. When I am wearing work gloves, I can put these on my most problematic fingers and still get into the gloves, making a tighter fit that helps protect those fingers from overbending. (As someone with relatively small and short fingers, I cannot find sturdy gloves that fit on my hands without lots of extra space in the fingers). These sleeves have a single seam which runs around the width of the finger. For the tighter sleeves, this may be irritating. It may not look good, but you can rotate the fabric to put the seam on the end of the sleeve or on the outside, so it isn't directly against the finger. This is not so apparent with the black sleeves because all the fabric and stitching is black. With the gray sleeves, the seam and stitching are white, making the seam really visible against the gray. I don't know about the other colors. By having a large number of these, they can get wet and/or I can hand wash them and still have others while I wait for the wet ones to dry. Washing also helps shrink them somewhat back to their original dimension. At least in my package, the black sleeves are on average tighter than the gray sleeves. I have trouble making use of most of the gray ones as a result. They don't do any good if they fall off. The tighter ones of these are good for all but my pinkie fingers. For people with larger fingers, they might be really tight, which might be painful and impede blood flow too much. Unfortunately, sizing seems to vary some from sleeve to sleeve, and elasticity may vary with the specific lot of fabric used. I don't think you can predict what you will actually get. If you are good at sewing knit fabric, you could take up the seam to shorten them, but you'd have to make a lengthwise seam to tighten them.

I've used gloves, Flexx-Rap tapes and sleeves that cover the entire finger. All of them protect your fingers from cuts, but they all have drawbacks. The worst offender is Flexx-Rap. It leaves a residue of the adhesive on the braid if you keep running the braid across the tape...like when moving the line back and forth to keep it even on a conventional spool. Once this adhesive gets on there, the braid sticks to itself and doesn't come off the spool easily making it difficult to cast or flyline a bait. I haven't found a way to get it off and I don't want to use any harsh chemicals that might breakdown or weaken the braid. For the gloves, I hate not having my fingertips available for tying and rigging. I could use fingerless but the other problem is the smell. I fish the west coast of California and Mexico for tuna mainly. We are handling live bait constantly, and occasionally our catch. Get enough of the blood and slime on the gloves, not to mention sweat, and it becomes a problem with smell. I have enough gear to clean after a trip without having to worry about soaking and washing gloves 3 three times over to get fish and sweat smell out of gloves. The sleeves that cover the entire finger again don't allow me to have my fingertips free for rigging. They also had a tendency to fall off easier than these finger sleeves. THESE ARE BAR NONE THE BEST SOLUTION...at least that I've found. Hope that helps.

Only one size and one length really hurts what you can do with them. Normal large hands and slightly thinner fingers here, and these are too tight. I just needed a slight pad on my middle knuckle for using a DualSense Edge with a back button on the right. Controller was digging into my knuckle. I took one layer off these and cut down the length. Basically just a one layer piece of fabric to provide some protection against hard plastic pushing against knuckle. I can't wear these as is. They compress the finger too much. Should have been one layer IMHO. For my use case I guess they are worth 7 bucks. For many others or those with thick fingers don't even bother ordering them.

The fit is great. One size fits all! It's very soft, durable and very comfortable. The compression is the right amount for sports. Very easy to put on and use. The supports is great! My husband loved the way it felt while playing ball. So this is indeed a must buy.

I wear these on the middle finger of my shooting hand to prevent the trigger guard from rubbing up a blister on the side of the knuckle. The fit is great for my medium sized hands. The quality is good and thickness is just right. No pain or blister with long sessions. They seem pretty durable, so 20 in a pack will last a long time. I'd post a picture but that would probably be against "community standards".
