My son absolutely loved this kit! We made an afternoon out of it and all sat down to paint the dinosaurs together as a family. There were enough dinosaurs to keep everyone busy, and he had so much fun choosing colors and making each one unique. The paint went on well, the dinosaurs were a nice size for little hands, and it turned into a fun keepsake after everything dried. If you have a dinosaur-loving kid, this is a great screen-free activity that encourages creativity and family time. We’d definitely recommend it!

Our grandson just loved this gift and was painting them within minutes of receiving it.

We used these at a children’s dinosaur party at my children’s art studio. They are a great size and a great variety of types of dinosaurs. They were all your basic and more common Dinos. We painted them with acrylic paint and the paint stays on great! I did not use the paint that was in the box so I don’t know how it stays on. Craft acrylic paint works great! Then the kids have a toy to take home and play with they painted themselves. Their creativity and colors they got to make them unique.

Our playgroup had children as young as 3 and as old as 15, and they were all excited to get their own dinosaur to paint. There were a couple of kids in around 6-7 that quit early and their moms ended up doing it while we chatted, but the younger kids were some of the most dedicated, so I suppose you need to know your audience. We did use the enclosed paints and they were fine, but we also used some acrylics, and they worked fine on these too- I'm not sure what kind of paint was included. There were a couple of sharp little spots where they didn't come smoothly off the mold, but those can be sanded off if they are a concern. Overall, I was really impressed with these dinosaurs, especially at the price they were offered. The kids were surprised that they would get to paint an actual toy and not just some kind of picture, and were very pleased to go home with their loot. It was a win! I like that all of the dinosaurs were a different breed. It was great inspiration of a scientific discussion, and could have been made into a unit study if I had been more on the ball. I would definitely recommend these!

We bought this kit to have as a station at my son’s 7th birthday party. It was a massive hit with him and his friends!
