This is perfect for my needs; I needed a new window kit as the one that came with my AC unit didn’t support my old, worn-down sash window. I ordered this one, and it works a charm a bit awkward to set up since I’m in a 2nd-floor flat with a warping window frame but I managed to get it secure, and now my ac cools my room so much better.

Previously I've tried to fit the aircon exhaust in a typical casement window with homemade baffles & 3D printed parts. Having moved to a new build with sash windows, I had to cut one of the blanking plates down as the window is quite narrow but once installed a much better seal and easy to install.

Advertised as suitable for a door, and shows a patio door in the picture. In reality it only fits a small window, as there are only three panels. Instructions in kit even say, "choose between 3,4, 6, or 7 panels to fit your space.... well you'll have a job, as there are only 3 panels. Terrible and dishonest advertising... item returned.

I used this to thread my 2016 Mitsubishi i-MIEV electric vehicle charging cord through to an interior outlet. It reduces air transfer from outside. For extra insulation, I stuff some AmazonBasics microfiber cloths around and in any exposed areas where air is seeping in. I do not want any electrical issues. I just pull my car in extremely close to my home, thread in the cord through this vent kit, plug it in an interior outlet and I'm good. This product works extremely well for my needs. It was really easy to install. It secured in place nicely. I did not have any worry that it was going to break under pressure, have my window slam shut and subsequently a crunched cord. This was super easy to install and works perfectly for the ac unit in my bedroom. I was having trouble finding one tall enough for our large windows but this one is adjustable to the perfect size. I didn’t use the tape that’s supposed to seal it. I just put this in the opening and closed the window to hold it. Because it fits just inside the frame, I’ve found that on cooler nights I can still slide the window open for the breeze and it stays in place. I love it! So much better than the strip of cardboard I had before!! 😉

Game changer! This AC Window kit is just what i needed. Fit my HiSense AC perfectly. The panel and connectors are so easy to install. The coupling on the hose that attaches to back of AC can be turned counter-clockwise and removed to install on new hose. The panels are held together very sturdily with wing nuts. While the unit comes with a hose, i elected to purchase a longer hose so that I could pull the AC out to cover hallway and 2nd bedroom. So happy with my purchase. Great price, best investment i have made to help my AC last longer. Thank you Amazon.
