Easy to set up, fits the bedframe perfectly. You can use a separate liner in case of any spills (not included), although the mattress itself looks pretty sturdy.

I've had this waterbed mattress for about two months and so far it's pretty good. We've always had a "Free-flow" for over 45yrs. I decided to try something different, so I went with a semi-waveless. It was pretty easy to install,actually it seemed a little easier than other waterbed mattresses we've had. It has 2 filling chambers, one on each side of the mattress, I'm not sure why there's 2 instead of the usual 1. It has a fibrous mat inside for the stableness of the water to the water make move less and it does. Maybe it's the fibrous bladder in it, butt it feels firmer to me than the other waterbed mattresses we've had. It seems to be a good quality mattress. It is a little bit more expensive than the other mattresses I've had but I guess with it having the stabilizer in it made it more expensive then a "free-flow". It seems to be a good value for the quality and I got it in the time frame that they said it would come. It is a little heavier than one's We've had so it took 2 people to place it in my frame but it rolled out easy. It is definitely "semi-waveless as it stops moving within a few seconds of when you get into it and definitely is not as moving when you turn over like the 'free-flow". I would say it's just about like it's described.

So comfortable and great price! Waves stop pretty quickly for a semi-waveless. Very durable, our 9 month old Golden Retriever puppy, who is 65 pounds, has run across it a few times now and no problem. Setup was a breeze and it has 2 openings so you can get air out as you're filling it. Really impressed by the quality for the price. Nice, thick vinyl makes it really trustworthy.
