Lasted less than 2 years
Bought this battery in December 2021 for a Dell Inspiron 3537 at customer site. Customer recently called (November 2023) with an error "BIOS boot message: battery cannot be identified. The system will be unable to charge this battery." Considering Dell's price for this battery is over $100, a 2 year longevity isn't too bad on a $25 battery. I've never had an original Dell battery just go dead like this, but considering cost vs. benefits, the trade off isn't too bad if the laptop is not a point of failure for your office. Luckily, we have a couple spares that are easily swapped in for a downed laptop. Not a bad deal, but not a great lifespan from the battery. I will try another and see if this was a outlier. On the positive side, the battery fits perfectly and until this call, it was working perfectly as far as I know.

To make sure the battery is seated correctly and locked in place.
At first it didn't seem to do what I thought it would do but I saw that it wasn't properly in the laptop. I unhooked it and re-seated it and this time it lay as it should in the laptop. I let it charge on the charger/power cord of the laptop overnight and in the morning, I turned on the laptop, entered my login pin and all came up (slowly as it was a Windows 10 system) but all was as I left it. Very pleased!

Battery DOA, package badly damaged
Package came severely damaged, battery was shown to be dead in Dell pre-boot diagnostics. AVOID THIS SELLER.

Nice replacement
My old battery lasted for 20 minutes after a full charge. After 3 charges on this battery my Dell inspiron 15-3000 lasted 2-1/2 hours. Incredible.

Battery is a brick after six months.
The battery seemed great for a few months and now after six months the battery is completely dead. No return policy after 30 days which is simply not long enough to test fully. Rubbish.
