Efficiently Premium
I bought this mouse originally to play a few MMO games I got into, that used the numbers to cycle abilities, and it was much more practical to have them on the mouse since it was used as a core control for the games anyway. Having used it for a few months, I really cannot fault it. Everything from the build quality, number pad adjustment, build materials and easy sync with iCUE for the RGB lights was perfect. Being a wired mouse as well was also a big plus for me, since I prefer them over wireless, and the braided cable meant it wasn't going to break anytime soon (which after a few months, I can safely say hasn't). Ergonomically, the mouse fits really nice in the hand. It has a premium weighted feel, is just the right size, and every curve and notch fits flawlessly into your palm. The mouse is also full customisable in button mapping, DPI setting and RGB lights, with total compatibility with Corsair's iCUE program. Finding a fault on this mouse is like finding a needle in a haystack, it really is that good. It became my daily driver for both work and gaming, and unless it falls into severe disrepair, will be with me for many years to come.

Good quality MMO mouse
I've been using this mouse for I don't know how many years. Not the same one mind, I'm on my third. Improvements have been made to the design in that time, including changing the construction of the left and right mouse buttons to prevent the multi-click issue (which is greatly appreciated as I had to fix this myself in my last two models), but it still has some QA flaws, and always has at least one problem when I buy one. This latest model had scroll wheel issues, where the wheel just did whatever it wanted regardless of my input. This was easily fixed by applying a bit of vasaline to the inside of the scroll wheel, but this is something that should really be caught and resolved before being sent out to customers. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this mouse. The buttons feel good, they haven't failed like they always did in my Razer mice and the adjustability is appreciated since I have quite big hands. The price of MMO mice is pretty high, but considering how few the options are I would say this is the best of them, and will last long enough to be worth the asking price. It's also great for productivity!

Didn't even last 3 months
So this is 2nd copy of this mouse I own, previously i was gifted one, got used to it, it lasted about a year but gave up and started skipping for some reason. Got 2nd model because I do like the side buttons and the size of the mouse, however, its not even 3 months of use and the scroll is already acting up. When scrolling down mouse randomly decides to also scroll up by one line for no reason. Of course im using the mouse for gaming having keybinds under the scroll, pressing one triggers another for no reason which is definitly not what you want in fevor of a battle. So now I either have to send it back and be without mouse for no idea how long, or I have to buy 3rd one to have something to use... But I guess thats just how gaming brands milk the money..

Fantastic except for the scroll wheel
I have been using this mouse since November last year but have had to send it off for RMA due to the scroll wheel becoming all jumpy - hence the 3 stars. Looks like this is a well documented issue with this mouse which is annoying given that the mouse itself is absolutely brilliant for MMORPG's - key binds to the side button pad are brilliant, DPI settings are also brilliant giving heaps of versatility with sensitivity. iCUE is good software and easy to get your head around. Barring the mouse wheel issue, the mouse is great.

The scroll wheel has issues
The good: Almost everything about this mouse is near perfect to me. The adjustable side buttons, the size, the weight, the shape of the buttons, it all works amazingly for my MMO gaming needs. It's really sad that "the bad" almost ruins everything I love about it. The bad: Unfortunately, like some other reviewers have mentioned, the scroll wheel on this mouse seems to be built from cheap parts or badly designed because after just a few months of use it can start jumping up and down randomly whenever you're trying to use it to scroll. For me, this hasn't exactly been game breaking, however it is a HUGE quality of life issue when trying to zoom in/out in games, or scroll up/down webpages. If you use your mouse wheel for keybinds then it will be game breaking, since hitting mouse-up will sometimes use your mouse-down bind and vice versa. Again, like some others did too, I bought this mouse again after the first time the issues started happening after about 10 months, but this time the wheel issues started happening again even sooner. With the issues starting after the second purchase being months after the return date had passed, I decided to try DIY fixes that people have reported online. Everything I've tried from petroleum jelly to WD40 to isopropyl alcohol has only ever slightly improved the issue, but not fully fixed it. Even if I could fully fix it, personally I don't believe that taking your mouse apart to clean it after only a few months should be a requirement - and if you have to do it once, you'll surely have to keep doing it on a regular basis. In conclusion: The good parts of this mouse are top tier and I've had no luck finding any other mouse like it (at a similar price). It is really saddening that the wheel issues are as consistent and persistent as they are, and understandably it will be a deal breaker for many people. If you have a different mouse you use or are looking to replace that doesn't have wheel issues, I would definitely go with that before looking at the Scimitar.

Excelente mouse.

I was looking for something to replace my 2nd Razer Naga chroma. This is really nice with some good features. A lot of people complain about the software but they clearly havn't had to deal with Razer Synapse 2.0. Synapse sucks, Icue is slightly better. Still not great, but a welcome improvement. The mouse itself is very comfortable and the adjustable buttons are great aswell. The buttons although not as tactile as the naga buttons feel much more solid and require less force to get the input. Which is great because I'm sick and tired of slapping my thumb against my mouse to use an ability. It took a little bit of getting used to, compared to the naga. But once I got used to the feeling of the mouse I like it considerably more. All in all great mouse. Cant speak too much on long term durability since I've only had it now for a few weeks. Update: 2 years later. The mouse is holding up quite well. There are no major blemishes on the surface and I've been using it a lot since I picked it up. I am however, having two issues that are annoying. The first one is the scroll wheel. After about 1 1/2 years the scroll wheel started skipping. Trying to scroll a webpage it would scroll the opposite direction first, before scrolling in the correct direction and sometimes not at all. I will be attempting a fix I've found for that online. The Second issue I've had just started the past week. On occasion when Clicking once, the mouse will register a double click input. As you can imagine, this is super frustrating. From what I've read online this is a switch failure which I've never had an issue with on any other mouse I've purchased. So to wrap up, the Corsair Scimitar was a fantastic mouse, it felt more solid than my previous Naga, however they both only seem to last about 2 years. I really wish someone would make an MMO mouse that you don't have to replace every two years.

Top, estava entre ele e um Naga, sem duvida corsair é top ! somente o software que poderia ser mais intuitivo, mas depois que pega o jeito é tranquilo
