Men's Ultimate Full-Zip Hoodie, Men's Hooded Fleece Sweatshirt with Zipper

To me, this is a perfect zip-front hoodie and is exactly what I was looking for. Fit: I'm 6' 1" tall but have proportionally short legs and a tall upper body. If my legs were longer, I'd be close to 6'5" tall. I know because that's how tall my sons are and they have the same upper body as me. I'm a big guy too at about 260+ lbs. right now. The XX-Large fits me perfectly. The sleeves are long enough and the jacket is a generous length at the waist without being too long. I love a little extra room in the shoulders and around the chest and under the arms. This hoodie has that type of cut which gives it a feeling of effortless comfort. I can move my arms and upper body easily and do everything from yard work to throwing a football without the jacket binding up. By the way, I tried the XXX-Large first because I wanted a comfortable fit and XXX-Large was just too big for me. Amazon took the return, sweet and easy, and I'm glad I traded down in size. Amazon is amazing in this way. You can buy with confidence. XX-Large is absolutely the right fit for me. I would say the fit is as expected but a touch on the roomy side, which I like. Feel: I think this hoodie is an excellent weight. I know it says heavyweight but everything is relative. I'd realistically call it a medium weight which I like very much. It's heavy enough to throw on for a crisp, late fall, morning walk in Upstate New York with my wife but it breathes well so I don't get overheated. For me, I'd say the jacket is good by itself for about 40 to about 60 degrees F. Any colder or if it's windy and it works great as a layer as I add an outer shell coat. As it gets warmer, I'll wear it unzipped until I just don't need it any more. Then it's easy to take off and light to carry. I'll sometimes throw it on around the house on a cool day like a sweater. It's easy to wear. Fabric: Mine is 90% cotton, 10% polyester. The exterior has a normal, dense-cotton, sweatshirt-type shell which helps to make it a bit more wind resistant. The interior is a nice soft brushed poly fleece which feels great next to your skin and wicks away any sweat. Very comfortable overall. Features: The zipper is reasonably heavy and mine works easily and smoothly. The front pockets are deep, roomy and comfortable. They are perfectly placed and cut right to easily rest your hands inside and feel secure without putting pressure on your forearms. The hood is just fine and feels right on my back. I will rarely, if ever, actually use the hood but the jacket just wouldn't feel right without it and it's nice to have there if I ever need it. The hood lays well and doesn't get in my way. Overall: I'm very happy with this full zip-front hoodie. It's a classic and just what I wanted for those times and activities when you need a comfortable, lived-in, sweat jacket. At those times nothing else is quite right. This one is perfect. Highly recommended!! Update June 2024: I have purchased 4 of these hoodies now. I spread them to likely locations I will need them so one is always handy. All of them are wearing very well and I still love them. I reaffirm my high recommendation.

Overall, I like this hoodie quite a bit. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a cell phone pocket inside, which should really be standard these days. I got a size smaller than normal based on reviews as I didn't want it to be overly loose or baggy. I'm usually a medium, but the small size fits me pretty good. It's nice and warm for cooler weather. Can't beat it for the price.

This sweatshirt is simply amazing for the price. It is 90% cotton which is so thick and nice. The zipper is metal and works well. Most sweatshirts nowadays are now 50% or less cotton. This is not "heavyweight" but for today's market it is about as heavyweight as you can get in this price range. For sure, it is warm enough for our climate in N. California. Highly recommend this 90% cotton sweatshirt. Ps the pockets are a normal size, plenty big for me, but not HUGE.

Got two in early 2021 to hold until cooler weather. My actual size would be a small/medium. I bought extra larges so I could layer other clothing under. I wear a lightweight Hanes full zip hoodie under these Hanes heavy weight full zip hoodies. They machine wash and dry pretty well. My basic washer and dryer don't handle super heavy/bulky loads well so I wash/dry these with lots of lighter weight clothing. These heavy hoodies dry about as you might expect, the insides are usually slightly dampish when the cycle ends. I tie the hoodie part tightly closed, tuck the strings inside the jacket and zip it up. This prevents the strings from getting tangled. The lining is soft, thick fuzzy cotton fleece. The outer fabric is sturdy cotton. They are very warm, even without layering. I got the navy blue and the color was as expected. Also the zipper does bulge, but this is a "feature" of Hanes' full zip hoodies. My lightweight ones do the same. I have recommended these to others and I would buy again. UPDATE FEB 2022: Ordered a size small, in charcoal gray. The "small" seems to come in at the seam running from the hoodie to the shoulder. The sleeves are plenty long. I normally wear a women's medium and this small fits like a women's large. One nice feature is the inside of the hoodie is lined with tshirt type material. This fabric covers the fuzzy side of the sweatshirt fabric. Still has a metal zipper. Very pleased again.

The fit is good. It is warm and good material. Had a lot of fuzz come off during the first wash but now it is become a staple. The biggest issue, by far, and I did read it in other reviews are the pockets. They are only big enough to rest your hands in, but if you set your phone or wallet in them... bye bye. I put my phone in my pocket to get into my vehicle and it fell out just in that small motion. Pockets are a big fail in this jacket. Otherwise it is a good color, I like the style, and it is a value for the price. FIX THE POCKETS.

I needed to replace my lightweight all-cotton hoodie after the sleeves became frayed from heavy use. I first bought a Fruit-of-the-loom hoodie which was 60 % and 40% polyester. It was soft, lightweight and looked great but provided very little warmth. It also didn't do a good job of wicking away moisture when I wore it for a jog. I next bought the Hanes Ultimate Hoodie, which is also a single-layer hoodie, but contains 85-90% cotton. The cloth is also thicker than the Fruit-of-the-Loom hoodie, so the Hanes hoodie did provide the warmth I wanted. As a single-layer hoodie, I still consider this to be a light-weight hoodie, but if you live in California or another warm-climate state, you might consider this to be medium-weight. Now for the fit. I am 5'6" and weight 158 lbs. so I bought a medium size hoodie. The Hoodie comes oversized to allow for shrinking, so I didn't panic when I took it out of the package and found it looked too big. After washing it and shrinking it in the dryer, it fit perfect. Some of the reviewers noted that the zipper doesn't lie completely flat after washing. Yes, that's sort-of true, but the effect is minimal. Another review complained that the material felt rough. Yes, that's only true if you compare it to all-polyester hoodies. The hoodie is made out of cotton and cotton always feels a little rougher than polyester. However, it was just as soft as my cotton sox. My only real complaint is the size of the pockets. The pockets are small. Even if I make a fist, my hands barely fit in the pockets.

La talla: Esta sudadera se espera que sea algo holgada por lo que viene más grande de la talla común sin embargo las tallas están ordenadas a la fecha de compra de una manera muy extraña por lo que si deseas que te quede normal pide 2 tallas menos que la que normalmente utilizas en ropa Mexicana, si deseas que te quede justa puedes pedir hasta 3 tallas abajo pero igual que muchas sudaderas con el uso se hacen algo grandes y puede variar un poco la talla por lo que no es seguro que quede bien bajando tantas tallas. A favor: -Precio bajo -Tela delgada ideal para un frio ligero o para después de hacer ejercicio. -Tal como venía es la talla en la que se mantiene, crece un poco pero no se encoge para nada como sucede con algunas sudaderas. Neutro: -El color no es el más duradero que puedes encontrar, el sol y las lavadas la decoloran fácilmente y en algunos meses el color será notoriamente más claro, pero por el precio es algo aceptable. -Las tallas son algo confusas y seguro no es a lo que uno está acostumbrado por lo que hay que tener cuidado. En contra: -Los cordones para ajustar el gorro son de calidad baja y se pueden deshacer o deshilar fácilmente, sobre todo con el cierre y si eres una persona que suele morderlos o jugar con ellos se deteriorarán rápidamente.

Deducting a star due to zipper-head is on the wrong side of the zip (right side instead of left) Edit: After using and washing a few times it lost the Hanes quality the T-shirts have. And I had to fix a seam that opened up. Disappointed. Lowered to two stars. Will donate to 2:nd hand.

I just received the Jacket, but the size is a huge difference. I order a Large size .. but it looks like XXL
