Interesting
Clearly the best among the price. For 9k i think there's no way any TWS earphone can beat The Sony. XM4 isn't yet available here and I'm sure it will have atleast double the price. If you are looking for compact buds, please move on, these aren't for you. The earbuds and the case are bulky axf. Coming to sound quality. These deliver rather flat sound, natural as it is. No boosted base or highs which is very pleasant and what I always expect when i pay so much money. You never want something more emphasized and then later regret when you listen to different variety of sounds. It's Sony so sound is never a problem. Touch controls are really good, BUT they will activate when you move around in bed and touch the buds to pillow 😂 it's really an inconvenience but eh okay. Another problem is, you can have ambient sound control on one side and music control on other but can't have volume control in the mix. If you want volume control you gotta sacrifice one of those above. And lemme say this, ambient sound controls and playback controls are very necessary, Sony please figure a way to slide in volume controls and also I think you should slide in Ai assistant controls somehow too cuz having wireless buds is really handy when using Ai on the go but even to put Ai controls i gotta assign one whole bud side to Ai and nothing else. Ofc these aren't a deal breaker but just remember these are there, and oh other buds do worse than this, atleast sony is a bit more flexible. Manual Equalizer in sony app covers the rest. I like how one bud can be used independently. And two of them can be used with 2 devices? (Happened to me once itself when one bud connected to laptop and another to phone, never tried deliberately). I am NOT pissed about the battery, the backup is decent and easily goes for 2-3 or more days (for me) because I don't keep them on my ears for absolute everytime like some psychos. Well if you go yolo it will probably last more than a day considering you gotta charge buds from the case and put back on. And the case charges pretty fast too, and you can always charge case while using buds themselves so never been a problem. As for just the buds alone using continuously, eh idk, since I wasn't playing all the time, but they definately lasted way more than 6h, like.. morning to night...(?) But remember most time they were idle in my ears. Coming to the biggest main highlight of the buds. Noise cancelling. The best ever in any buds. For all the fools in reviews trying to figure out why it isn't good or whatever, guys, you need to find complete isolation in ear for ANC to work. In any headphones or earphones, ANC will only work if the buds are completely sealed in ears. Better use foam tips because for obvious reasons. If the provided ones aren't the perfect fit and you need something in between, try finding foam tips on Amazon, you've spent like 8-10k on thesez spend a few hundred more to get ANC working properly. The ANC really is even capable to cancel out the loud sound of train and most of people chatter, just the really high pitch sounds come through but they are completely masked by whatever you play in the buds so. ANC here is a beast. Remember ANC cancels out the lows and some of mids. Highs are not completely gone but whatever you play will mask it. Call quality is average. I have a big head big ears and beard so the buds don't stick out and actually looks really premium, with that golden hole and sony branding, people know you haven't cheaped out on your buds 🤣 like i7 or calltek fake airbuds whatever that is. There are lot more features on app and all but idc, these are main things and I've pointed them out. Make your choice.

Excellent Overall
I was willing to spend upto 18k, and buy a decent set of Bluetooth earphones (wire connected, neckband or true wireless), after my trusty V-Moda Forza Metallo Wireless finally gave out after over 2 years of excellent performance, day after day. I decided to go the true wireless way, as for me, cables are usually the commonly the component that dies first. My shortlist included: 1. Sennheiser Momentum TWS 1 2. Klipsch T5 True Wireless 3. Sony WF-1000XM3 4. Bose SoundSport Free 5. Bowers and Wilkins P13 6. Jabra 75t 7. Master And Dynamic MW07 Go After a sad and painful (literally) week with the Sennheiser Momentum TWS 1, I finally plunged for these Sony WF-1000XM3 earbuds, as: The Klipsch has app and service (in India) issues. The Bose don't sound very exciting, and physical controls on true wireless buds can be a pain to operate. The B&W have mixed reviews and don't offer as much as the competition, for the price they demand. And while the Jabras seem like a well rounded product, they are not particularly well known for their audio prowess, which was my main requirement. The MW07 Go simply don't offer a comparable feature set, which for the price is really not acceptable. And have physical controls as well. So I was left with this option. After using these for the first time, I was utterly shocked: The bass felt so weak, and they sounded shrill, there was so little detail in the music. I cursed my purchase and though I'd made a big mistake going for Sony in the premium audio segment, having developed my nubile audiophile taste listening to Audio Technica, V-Moda, Sennheiser, Bose, Beyerdynamic, RHA, MEE, Jays, Marshall and B&O, to name a few. But I was wrong. Happily wrong. Returning these wasn't an option, so I started experimenting with the fit of the bundled eartips. After about 2 weeks of trying everything, again and again, I settled on the L silicon tips. And combined with optimizations (except DSEE HX, as it is utterly useless) and customisations via the Headphones App, I found the sweet spot for me. They sound awesome now. So, first thing to do when you get these is to find the perfect seal. Because once you do, you can start exploring what these babies can really do. I find these to be very comfortable, especially compared to the TWS offerings from Sennheiser. Coming to the sound quality, if you really want to make the most of your purchase, do install the Sony Headphones app. It really unlocks their full potential, and even helps partially neutralise some of their sonic shortcomings. Detail: 8/10 Bass: 8/10 (punchy and very well controlled, but not as powerful and deel as some of its competitors) Soundstage: 7/10 (not so bad, but feels especially narrow on some songs) Separation: 8/10 Highs: 9/10 Mids: 8/10 Lows: 8.5/10 Overall, a very stellar showing. But the noise cancelling is really astounding, it makes the whole experience much more immersive. Also, the battery life is good, and these support fast charging. Wireless charging is a miss, but not that big a deal if you ask me. But apart from all the above, there are a few standout features, that the competition can't really match: 1. The hear-through mode, especially tap and hold is just excellent. 2. The touch sensors on these are miles ahead of most rivals. 3. Sony keeps adding/enhancing these via software updates through the app. 4. Although not the very best sounding TWS earbuds out there, they can still hold their own against the top dogs, and are definitely near the top. Besides, their versatile sonic range can handle almost anything with aplomb, which most TWS can't boast of, even those from Bose or Sennheiser. 5. I experienced no connectivity issues, whatsoever. May be in part because of their ability to work independently of each other. 6. Whatever they have to offer, works well and without hiccups, which the likes of Klipsch, Sennheiser, and even Bose so far, haven't been able to match. All in all, I am happy with my purchase, and with the updates and improvements that Sony has consistently been providing, I think these are keepers.

Late to launch in India: WF-1000XM3 is a pocket dynamite
Let me get straight to the point - I got this earphones on its launch day in India for ₹16,490 (With card offer 1500 off from ₹17,990). Here's my review. Sound quality - 4.75/5 This is a mind-blowing pair to own and it outputs insanely clear mids/vocals! Bass/lows are more than sufficient, Instrument separation is incredibly awesome hence the highs are good but you may feel the fatigue in an hour if you boost the highs in the Sony app. Pairing & performance with devices - 4.25/5 Pairing process is pretty simple just like any other TWS. You have to take the buds out of the case then the phone detects it. There is NO multiple device connection here again something Sony should work on for this price next time. Each time I have to end connection with a device to connect with another one. For some reasons, Connection with windows 10 laptop was cranky every single time. It produces weird cut off / hiss sound which makes me not to use at all with them. With phones I had to no issues at all. I connected with my Huawei P30 Pro and Realme X2 Pro, X2 Pro gave the better maximum sound compared to P30 Pro. So test it with your devices (if you have multiple) and choose the right one. That doesn't mean P30 Pro output was bad, it's just that I had to keep 100% volume to get what I want as opposed to 70% volume in Realme X2 Pro. Features - 4/5 Yes the Sony headphones app lets you customise sound stage to your liking and offers control over noise cancellation levels whether you want ambient outside sound or not etc., There is no waterproofing and no wireless charging either which is a bummer at this price! Build quality and looks - 4.25/5 It's well built and looks dashing , quite premium thanks to its copper black/white colour combination. On the flipside it's bulky and even the buds is larger than most others. I felt the lid quality could have been better on the case. Noise cancellation - 4.5/5 Honestly I was expecting a bit more of noise cancellation since I own it's bigger brother WH-1000XM3 too and that one is the king of NC . Nonetheless WF-1000XM3 cancels out most low frequency noise out of the equation and overall I would say it does best in TWS world. Expecting better NC in its next version. Call quality - 4.5/5 For my first call, it sounded the worst and muddy. I thought fine this thing is not built for this functionality lol. I don't know what happened after few days of burn in, both music quality and call quality were improved especially call quality improved dramatically! Although there is a stupid sound that could be heard all along the call(Like a vacuum may be because of noise cancellation? Who knows) which is annoying. Battery life - 4.75/5 Exactly delivers what was promised. 5.45hrs I got against claimed 6hrs with Noise cancellation (I use NC always ON) and the case provide three times of 6hrs. Excellent! Charging time is weird though. The red light doesn't go away even after 4hrs(with 18W Type C charger). So the next time I charged approx for 2hrs and disconnected even though red light was glowing and found it charged 100% already. Looks like a bug. Overall - 4.5/5 If you prefer class leading sound quality and noise cancellation over features (like waterproof, wireless charging) and you want the absolute beast , Doesn't matter the cost - Then buy it. You won't regret. Pics : Huawei P30 Pro & Canon EOS 77D Edit: Lightroom

Just skip the product
I bought this TWS with high expectation considering sony`s competitive edge in making speakers. To my surprise, this product has let down sony on all fronts. the purpose of my writing a review is to make our customer aware of the issues which I faced, I am not contesting that the product itself is garbage or of low quality. I am just penning down my unbiased experience, rest the customers are better judge in their purchase options. issues 1. Pathetic Battery life- it is nowhere near the tall claim of 6hr/8hrs or 32hr. I just got 2.5 hrs with ANC. Initially, the case was not charging more than 70% even if is plugged in for the whole day. I ordered the replacement of the product after using it for 3 days continuously as the battery life was not improving at all. Imagine, as lithium ion battery is irreplaceable and tends to deteriorate with time What battery backup I might get after 2-3 years.??? Pls remember, the TWS are "use and through" products. Once u use it and exhaust the battery, the only option is to replace it with a new one. This is the convenient way the companies nowadays forcing customers to adopt TWS and renew it after 2-3 years, thus ensuring a continuous flow of revenue for the company. 2. Even the replaced product was offering only 2.5 hrs of battery with ANC. After such disappointment, I did not dare to check the battery backup without ANC. Having realized pathetic battery life, I immediately returned the product and got a refund. No amount of feature can compensate for the poor battery life. 3. very very uncomfortable to wear. Even the extra silicon earbuds did not provide me the requisite comfort. 4. Plus there is an issue of pressure building in the ears, which caused me a severe headache. Your ears feel cramped and discomfort starts to fatigue your head after continuous use of 30 min. 5. There is 0.2 to 0.5 second lag while watching videos. Hence these TWS are not recommended for watching movies over netflix, or other modes of streaming. 6. SIze is huge and weight is quite taxing for the ears. 7. On average it depletes 30% of battery in 40 minutes with volume @60% (with ANC). Imagine what will happen if one were to use the earphones at the max volume!!!!!! 8. Ambient Sound mode or Transparency mode is not natural and ur voice feels quite digital while having conversation with earbuds plugged in. Further discomfort is accentuated by the size and fit of the earbuds. In the case of apple airpods pro the protruding portion of the silicon which extends into the eardrum does not include plastic, hence it makes the experience quite pleasant. 9. does not offer sweat protection and comes without any IP rating, which is appalling at this price point. Further, u cannot charge the earbuds wirelessly, which is not a big issue for me at least, but still. i expect sony to give this feature. The only plus point is the sound quality, which I think is the USP of the product. But with the above-mentioned issues, I would recommend the customers to simply ignore the product and look for other options available at the same price e.g. Jabra 85t, Bose, Airpods pro, etc.

Average product
Writing this review after approx 3 month of usage Pros : 1) Sound quality - I am not an expert but can compare the sound with skullcandy headset, sound quality is good from this, Bass is not too high and not too low, Music sounds really good in these. 2) Call quality - Calling quality is good, I never faced any disruption / disconnection Note : If you are not able to map it to the laptop then pls search mapping for this headset on youtube, there are some good videos. One way which I found when I was not able to map it to laptop - Insert both of the headset in your ears and press both touchpad on headset together for 5 sec and then it will go in pairing mode and your laptop will detect it then. Coming back to call quality - Bluetooth works for approx 10-12 mtr, then it starts breaking, call quality is good. No issues in that Fitment : This headset completely fails on this parameter - Fitment is a huge issue a) Its bulky b) I suppose that my both of the ears have same structure, but one headset fits another does not, still not sure why? For me right one never fits and fell on ground 3 times till date which is dangerous for such an expensive product. and over and above - this can not be put on while running / walking as it falls off the ear if not tight. Best case scenario - sit and enjoy :) Noise cancelling : This was the reason for which I purchased this product and its 10/10 on that parameter, It cancels noise very effectively, you need to play around the app and the headset touch setting to understand but once noise cancelling is "On", it cancels all extra noise from surround. It cancels so effectively that if somebody is calling you from some distance, you wont hear at all. sometimes it becomes issue for married people hahah. Jokes apart - I am fully satisfied with noise cancelling, it works well and cancels extra noise from surrounding. Case : Bit bulky but ok Biggest drawback : At this price point if company "Sony" gives you a charging cable of 6 cm, then its very disappointing, you only have option to charge the case from laptop only as the cable is not more than 6 cm, you can not hang it, you can not keep it anywhere else as the cable is so short that it wont reach anywhere, the only option is laptop. If you don't have laptop - don't buy it Overall - Its ok if you are using it for calls (Obviously you wont run during office calls), Its ok if you sit back and enjoy music. But if you enjoy music while running / walking then don't buy it, If you don't have laptop to charge - don't buy it, If noise cancelling is not a requirement ( it was a requirement for me), don't buy it as there are other options available at much lower price point but they don't have active noise cancellation. Fitment issues are individual but it still is bulky. Thanks for reading!!

Totally worth it! Premium and Secure
Being an audiophile and owning several other high-end in-ears, I was skeptical about the sound quality of a wireless headset. Also, I usually find Sony products overpriced despite their stellar design quality. However, in all aspects, these blow you away and are worth their value and more. The headset has everything for everybody. It naturally sounds neutral and is good for audiophiles looking for a truly wireless set. Bass and treble sound awesome but never compromising detail, instrument separation or soundstage clarity; unless you specifically alter the sound with the equalizer. The DSEE HX does an awesome job at upscaling audio, including for some horrible 32kbps MP3 tracks that I own. For people who complain that LDAC and aptX HD are not supported, they simply don't know what they are talking about - sound quality wise. Make sure you select the right sound signature you need, with the app. The good thing is that the profile you save is saved on-device, so it works the same with multiple devices. Also, check which ear tips fit you, the large silicone ones can be uncomfortable and generate a lot of heat in 20-30 mins. The foam ones are more comfortable. Better eartip design is needed for the next model. But saying so, the earbuds fit securely into your ears even with the small tips. Just to check, I shook my head vigorously for 40 seconds (quite a head rush) but they didn't even move, let alone fall off. My 1More Truly Wireless don't feel so secure. The battery life is excellent as promised by Sony. My only gripe is that connectivity with Windows suffers from occasional stutters during playback of high quality files. I find no such problems with my Android and iOS devices. Internet searches say its because of Intel Bluetooth drivers, but this is something Sony should look into. The 1More TWS connects seamlessly with both my PCs. The case is large but pocket-able for men. It has an NFC chip to pair easily with phones and is sturdy. The worst design flaw with this entire set is that the case cannot stand upright. Only sideways or upside down. I sweat a lot and use these for walking but I've found no problems in using the 1000XM3s. Sony has in the past reliably made products to be sweatproof without IP ratings and I won't break a sweat over working out with them.

Go for it, just blew me away :)
Best TWS period. I am a huge audiophile. I even sing, compose, play guitar. So I just love all the sounds. And this has the balanced sound with good audio separations. You can always boost bass from Sony headphones app (ClearBass) or your phone's EQ if you need the deep thump. Also the spacial separation is amazing considering the proximity of the TWS to the ear. To the people posting bad reviews on battery life. Please read about battery consumption on Sony's support site. Use the headphones app from Sony. Day 1: I switched on all the features and the battery lasted 2.5 hours. (At this point I thought it is defective and thought about returning but then it slowly increased to 3 hrs & keep reading) Day 2: I switched off all features (from Sony's headphones app only) and got more than 9 hours & I'm generously reducing it because I began using it 1 after noon and used it till 1 past midnight (more than 12 hours, before I dozed off). Kept the earphone out of case overnight as it said battery was below 20 (not over). But by morning only the right one would respond. I played my favourite songs at 70% a few even at 100 but couldn't test it at more than 50% continuously on average. I also took personal & office calls on this thing. It was all amazing. Telegram got the clearest call though as usual. Keep in mind: 1. DSEE HX consumes 50% battery (Use it only if you need Reconstructed Lossless like audio) 2. ANC pulls 25% battery. 3. Ambient mode is hard to figure out but it uses ANC on various levels (you can set it in presets, when to have what level under Adaptive sound control) 4. You can select select ”register from learned locations" under Adaptive sound control and select your home location. (Where I need no ANC or ambient) CONS: 1. If you have discomfort wearing long hours, you need to wear it so the small bulge on the units click with the groove near the earlobe. (Wear straight and then twist it to a horizontal like Sony says, not really a con if you wear how it's described) 2 Touch (capacitive) buttons are a bit behind. I understand why but my fingers always reach for the earcanal and touch the front of the unit. Sony says grab the unit with thumb & middle finger and use index finger. But I gave that a only the middle finger and just use 2 fingers or palm over my whole ear. Much faster. But I face this with most good TWSes. But trust me when I say, the TWS sounds much better than any other I've tried even with all features turned off. Do try the 360 audio too. That's new for me. And buttons are customisable to a few things including volume control, which I needed :) Bottom line is most people don't need all the features all the time unless you're researching songs (DSEE HX) or if you take lots of calls in public (ANC).

LIMITED!
Incase of battery issues, please turn off the DSEE HX since much difference mayn't be noted on usage. This review is based on some days usage and not long term. The Pros and Cons as based on my usage: Pros: 1.The Sound Quality is excellent, there is no doubt on it. The bass is as required for TWS, there are no comparisons with Over Ear Bass creepers. Pick any song type and this does the job. 2.ANC is good, cannot compare with the WH-1000XM3, but does the job. you will hear some sound from outside but once the song start to kick in the outer-world sound goes off. It is good to binge on movies sports and song. This has 6mm driver and do not expect much from it. 3.The battery Life is good in ANC enabled mode, but in your daily activity you will not need much ANC since this almost knocks out noise in normal mode. DSEE HX mostly upscaling the sound quality nearly to the premium feel of Hi-Res. 4. Call quality is ok ok compared to airpods, which means it is not up to the mark even after the update. 5. Sony headphones app is an extra advantage for manual selective of equalizer modes, touch controls. Cons: Anything of this world has Pros and cons and these TWS are no exception: 1. Aptx, Aptx HD and LDAC less, means you cannot assure the best connectivity with some phones but Sony's own QN1es does the job for most connectivity. 2. Connectivity in laptop is worse while listening to online music and youtube videos. 3. The TWS is large and weighs 8.5g each compared to the airpods of 4g each. But if depends on how you use. 4. Its not IP rated well these are not made for workouts. Finally if you are looking for a premium headphones to listen to these are the ones if you have the budget for it, or else there are other brands on the market which costs less. The sound quality of the TWS is evident from the name itself SONY.

Great quality
Only had these a day but impressed so far. Had a bit of trouble trying to update the buds on receipt but all sorted now. Great sound quality. Once right tips fitted sits in my ears well. These buds are certainly a step up on my previous Melomania buds. Reassuringly expensive

Madre Mía—the Legends are True!
All I can say is that I, like the many reviewers who have already posted, are thoroughly impressed with these new noise-canceling earbuds from Sony. Let’s start with the easiest. These things are visually gorgeous. The charging box in which they sit reminds us of the Sony of “yore” (is Sony seeing somewhat of a Renaissance these days? It sure seems so). The black and rose gold color combination is stunning, and the functionality of the charging box matches it. The individual earbuds fit perfectly in their holding spots inside the case, and are magnetically pulled and held into place. A USB 3 (thank you, Sony!) connects the charging case to the power source. The earbuds and the case are simultaneously charged if both are low, or only the earbuds are charged if the case is charged, or if you are using the case apart from a power source to charge the earbuds. Great design. Next, the comfort of the earbuds themselves is exceptional. I was highly skeptical that they would be either comfortable or stable in the ear, but I am happy to report that they are both comfortable AND easily stay in place. Of course, getting good sound depends very heavily on putting the correct size of the ear caps on the earbuds, so make this choice carefully. If you do not have the proper size on ANY earbuds, they will generally sound terrible. Again, Sony did well here by providing three sizes of two material types of buds so that you can get the perfect fit. Bluetooth connection is accomplished by a touch sensor on the right and left earbuds. You simply touch each simultaneously and the headphones go into connection mode. I had no trouble getting them connected to my phone. Both blue and red lights on the buds and on the charger signal charging, pairing, and connection. (It is advised to quickly look over the included blue-and-white instruction sheet to see the sequence of steps for each of these operations.) Sounds quality is very good. The headphones will not produce pounding bass, but with the right equalization settings, the correctly-sized earbuds, etc. Little practice, the sound is very pleasing. The signature is more-or-less flat throughout the range, with a drop in the lower end of low bass. However, there is still plenty of mid-range bass, and I find the speakers quite pleasant in the manner in which they accurately and clearly reduce the music. This part of any headphones is a highly personalized factor, but I can’t imagine anyone would be disappointed unless they are looking for something that turns out massive amounts of bass at all times. Finally, noise reduction. I don’t claim to be an expert, but I’ve been using Sony noise reduction systems for nearly 20 years on a variety of models with different headphones with great satisfaction (and before most people were even interested in noise reduction). There is absolutely no question that the noise reduction on these earbuds is beyond exceptional: it's almost unbelievable how well they work. As many people point out, they will not remove all voice noise (but will reduce it), but it’s the other noises—airplanes, fans, generators, cars, etc.—that these just handle with aplomb. To be honest, I did not expect them to be any better than my last Sony noise reduction sets, but they certainly are, no kidding. You have to hear them to believe them. This is a five-star item in nearly every respect. As people find out about them, they will become more and more popular. Amazing!

A cor é discreta. A qualidade do som é maravilhosa.
