Q: is this just for securing a PWC to a beach? I'm looking for an anchor offshore.

I've used to anchor my jetski in 15 feet deep water.

Q: Is this strong enough to use as a second anchor on the stern on a sandbar for a 24’ boat

Probably not. We would recommend a Ultimate XL or Lite 36 Anchor to hold a 24' boat on the stern as a second anchor.

Q: Does it grabs/holds on sand bottoms and sandy beaches?

Hi, yes it works well in sandy bottoms. Sometimes, it will help to push it down or step on it in the sand. We are able to hold a couple ski's, daisy chained, in the sand. Just be sure to not step on the tines pointing up! Thank you!
