This cream is better than it has any right to be, at the price point it is. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. Even when I'm going through the tretinoin uglies and my face literally hurts, this soothes my skin and makes it comfortable enough to put sunscreen on and not dry out during the day. The ingredient list is why - and it blows my mind that this is so inexpensive. Geeky points about the formula: - Squalane is the 2nd ingredient and glycerin is the 3rd. It's no wonder this immediately gives a soft, cushioned feel and relieves tightness on contact. - The stearates, lecithin and phytosterols create a layered "lamellar emulsion" that mimics healthy skin's lipid composition. That lets the cream integrate within the skin's barrier quickly and start working fast. - If those aren't reason enough, this doesn't just have one ceramide in it's ingredient list, it has a 5-ceramide blend that's rarely found in a drugstore product. - It also has carnosine (a dipeptide with antioxidant and anti-glycation properties) that's almost never found in a drugstore product. Seriously, this cream mean business. It's also notable for what it doesn't have: no silicone oils, no fragrance, no lanolin. It manages to feel silky and plush, with moisture that lasts - without silicone oils. The tube also lasts a long time because it doesn't take very much to do the job. I've had this tube for 3 months and I'm just about halfway through it. I've worked in the beauty industry for decades and I really wish I'd started using this sooner. I have a shelf full of high end moisturizers that don't hold a candle to this one.

I’ve found that it layers well under sunscreen during the day and works equally well as a nighttime moisturizer. It provides enough moisture for dry skin while remaining light enough for acne-prone skin types. The pump packaging is hygienic and easy to use, and a small amount spreads surprisingly far across the face and neck. I have multiple chemical sensitivity, and many allergies including but not limited to Lanolin, Formaldahyde, perfumes and dyes, so it is very difficult to find facial grade products that I can use. This product is great, I hope I can find a larger tube or bottle of it in the future! It felt silky on my face, and just a small amount goes a very long way, I ended up with extra on my hands, so I used it on my hands, and left it overnight, nice, non-greasy, not too thick! Lovely product for those of us with extra sensitive skin! No Fragrance at all!!

This moisturizer is simply the best! It offers an excellent price for its effective performance. It keeps my face moisturized without causing any irritation to my sensitive skin. The quantity is reasonable considering the price, but I do feel that the bottle allows the product to be dispensed too quickly, which may lead to faster depletion. Despite this, it feels incredibly pleasant and has a watery consistency, making it lightweight and easy to apply.

This is a very gentle and skin-friendly moisturizer. It’s fragrance-free, a little goes a long way, and it provides really good hydration without causing any irritation or allergic reactions. The only downside for me is that the texture feels a bit too thick. I personally really liked Neutrogena Hydro Boost because it feels very lightweight and almost disappears on the skin, while Vanicream tends to leave a slight residue or heavier feeling on my face. However, Neutrogena Hydro Boost does contain fragrance, which can be a downside for sensitive skin. Overall, I would definitely recommend Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer if you prefer fragrance-free skincare or if your skin is very sensitive or prone to allergies.

I bought this as a substitute for CeraVe’s moisturizing cream because it contains similar ingredients but this one has even more ceramides. It tingles like CeraVe but has a lighter consistency. It’s not thick and dries fast and keeps skin hydrated for quite a while. Very good cream to mix with other active ingredients.
