I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. Even when I'm going through the tretinoin uglies and my face literally hurts, this soothes my skin and makes it comfortable enough to put sunscreen on and not dry out during the day. The ingredient list is why - and it blows my mind that this is so inexpensive. Geeky points about the formula: - Squalane is the 2nd ingredient and glycerin is the 3rd. It's no wonder this immediately gives a soft, cushioned feel and relieves tightness on contact. - The stearates, lecithin and phytosterols create a layered "lamellar emulsion" that mimics healthy skin's lipid composition. **Q: How does this compare to Cerave Moisturizing Lotion?**
A: It is a similar consistency/feel to the CeraVe PM lotion. But does not have niacinamide (like CeraVe PM), so if you are sensitive to that ingredient, you might love this. It's very moisturizing and soothing , helps rebuild skin barrier, and perfect for use with active ingredients to minimize irritation. This feels lighter than the Vanicream Lite Lotion and has the benefits of ceramides and hyaluronic acid added in.

**Q: How does this dry down?**
A: The vanicream is absorbed into your skin very quickly. It is not greasy. I luv it. I have always used Dr Perricone, but had to stop.

**Q: Is this product vegan or cruelty free? Jumping bunny certified?**
A: According to Ethical elephant, it is cruelty free as of 2022 and does not test where required either.

**Q: Is this supposed to be sealed?**
A: Mine didn't come sealed. After reading the March 25, 2021 comment about being in the process of utilizing seals, I reordered but it came unsealed as well. I feel conflicted and disappointed in regards to the product coming unsealed. I love the ingredients that this moisturizer utilizes and feel that it's very difficult to find moisturizers that have such little irritating/acne prone ingredients. I do feel uneasy/uncomfortable about this product being unsealed. I'm hoping that the first two orders without a seal were just a fluke.

I have multiple chemical sensitivity, and many allergies including but not limited to Lanolin, Formaldahyde, perfumes and dyes, so it is very difficult to find facial grade products that I can use. This product is great, I hope I can find a larger tube or bottle of it in the future! It felt silky on my face, and just a small amount goes a very long way, I ended up with extra on my hands, so I used it on my hands, and left it overnight, nice, non-greasy, not too thick! Lovely product for those of us with extra sensitive skin! No Fragrance at all!!
