This was a great replacement for the motorola baby monitor parent unit (mbp-33). It has a right angled plug similar to the original power cord (instead of the cord sticking straight out of the plug from the side of the monitor) and it fits much better inside the parent unit power plug input than another highly rated replacement plug we bought a couple years ago (That one we had to sit the plug just right to get it to consistently power the parent unit...). The blue light on the wall side plug is bright, but a piece of black electrical tape fixed that quickly and effectively. I would recommend getting this plug if you have an mbp-33 and need to replace the power cord. It does come with a couple other couplers so the unit-side plug can fit into other receptacles too.

Been using this for 3 months now with our Motorola baby monitor and have not had any issues. The swappable tip has not come loose and we have not had an issue with a loose connection between the tip and the baby monitor. The tip does stick out a bit compared to the power supply which came with the monitor, but this hasn't had any impact on the performance. Definitely recommended for anyone who needs to use their baby monitor in multiple parts of the house and does not want to keep relocating the power supply.

I bought this to replace the power cord on my Motorola baby monitor. 1. Yes, it fits and charges it. 2. Yes, the end that plugs into the baby monitor is longer than the original one, but not a big deal if a little bit sticks out. 3. Yes, the blue LED on it is super bright and can function as a night light. 4. Yes, you do have to position it correctly to make contact and charge (I just flip it to the back.) Does it work? Yes. Would I buy again? Yes.

My original cord was becoming so sensitive that it had to be sitting a certain way. But the monitor and camera were working just fine. So i did a quick google search and found these. The down side is there is an adaptor that needs to stay plugged in, but honestly being the only down side id purchase it again.

We have had a Mororla MBP33BU video monitor for 3 years. The cord finally started to splinter after 2.5 years and stopped working. Motorola sells the "official" replacement cord for a lot more money than this one. Very happy with this cord. It is much sturdier than the original and comes with an additional adapter for other models. Definitely recommend this buy. Great price and great quality.

To save busy parents like us a little time. This plug will work, but for a very limited time. 1) the end that plugs into your monitor has an adapter and you need to determine the correct polarity the end of our cable was not marked, it appears there was a place for the marking but there was not one. I have electrical experience and was able to determine +/- polarity with a multi-meter get it wrong and you will likely fry your $200+ monitor. 2) the end that plugs into the monitor is longer than the original and after a short period of time becomes loose and requires you to carefully twist for it to properly connect 3) this lasted two months then one night the monitor started beeping that it was running out of batteries. listening closely the plug and this plug was producing a very high frequency buzzing noise. It was also warmer than usual to the touch. It was dead. I'd recommend finding another adapter if you want to continue using your monitor :-/ I paid $35 for my second replacement and it has worked for months without issues. It's also a much better fit for the connector so it doesn't require careful twisting.

I needed a replacement power cord ASAP for our Motorola video baby monitor. This cord does exactly what it needs to do. It is black instead of white (the color of the original cord) but works perfectly and also seems like it might be longer than the cord that came with the monitor.

We had to replace the original Motorola plug in because it was broken by a wild toddler that liked running away with the monitor, before unplugging it. Although the cord isn't as long, it is certainly long enough. The cord itself is not as flimsy as the original and the plug itself seems to be made of thicker, more durable plastic/rubber molding. We have had it for a while now and it is in the same condition as when we bought it.
