The consistency was sticky and runny. When I tried to use it in my car it stuck to the interior and took scrubbing to get it off, also left a slimy residue.

No , maybe the crevices between the lights and the car if there is dust. If you need to test by a small container .. it is basically flurrp

Can this slime stick to an object?

I know that it does stick real well to plastic ie vehicles keyboard it like a well made duster on serious if your just do a small test area I keep mine in the fridge. We will see if it still works
