Amazing product! I've been trying to go as "green" as possible, but hesitated with these as i was concerned about staining, hygiene, quality etc. which seemed to be unfounded however. You get more than enough rounds; they last me 2/3 weeks as I only use them for toning. The times they picked up leftover dirt & makeup, the stains washed out easily and they looked as good as new after. I can't attest to this being the case if they were constantly used for heavy duty makeup removal however as I double cleanse, so please do keep that in mind. The material is heavenly to touch. There were a few loose strings and snags on arrival, but it doesn't appear to be indicative of poor quality. The standard everyday rounds are almost fleece-like, while the exfoliator pads are like a soft towel. This does impact the absorbency a bit and you might find yourself using more product than you mean to, as the liquid "sits" on top and take a few seconds to soak in. Majority of this is resolved after the first wash though. They come in a recycable carton with a cute little laundry bag, which you can also put in the washing machine. I personally prefer letting them soak in some warm water, facial wash & tea tree oil before rinsing - and like I've mentioned before, there has been no staining, and no bacterial breakouts. The texture of the exfoliator pads also make it great to run under some hot water and wipe away masks/cleansers, or even use as a face flannel. As a little warning however, I should mention they tend to "stretch" out after the first use from the inside out (like normal cotton pads). I would still definitely recommend this regardless and have no regrets.

Really great little set, the pads are very soft and remove all my makeup with a cleanser (even waterproof makeup) without me having to scrub my face red raw! I used to use disposable makeup remover wipes but these are much more eco-friendly and a great purchase so far. They're easy to wash and I just chuck them in with my weekly clothes wash which is handy enough.

It would be great if you could buy just the velour pads (or just the terry cloth ones if you prefer) rather than having to buy the selection pack. (I know there are other brands making similar products, but I wanted to get these as they are a better known company and there were more comprehensive reviews available.) My skin can be very sensitive - I can't use those muslin cloths that you get with some cleansers as they are too rough and scratchy. However, these pads are very soft and have caused me no issues at all. As I only use these for toner there are more than enough here to last the week. They can just go into the regular clothes laundry once a week. They wash well: I make sure to tie two knots in the drawstring on the bag; no problems with pads falling out into the washing machine. They dry pretty quickly just hanging up in the airing cupboard, still in the bag. Can't comment on how good they are for makeup removal as I don't use any these days. However, I can say that I haven't had to use more product with these than I used to with disposable cotton pads. All in all the quality seems fine. Again, it would be good if you could make your own selection of type and quantity and number of bags, especially as the whole idea is to reduce waste.

My daughter recommend these to me. For 45 years I have always had the same routine with makeup removal. Two cotton wool balls every night, one to remove and one to clean. I worked out I had used approximately 32850.00 balls......that was quite shocking This product is packaged and looks like something you would be treated to at a high class health farm. The pads are so silky, soft and beautifully made. They arrived neatly packaged with two washable bags to put them in for the washing machine. I have only used 2 so far and find that washing out with soap after use is sufficient to be able to reuse so far. The fact these will last me the rest of my life and no more cotton wool balls makes me feel I am do a tiny part in helping the fight against pollution of our plant. Every woman should have these and feel as glamorous removing their makeup as they do wearing it.

Good to feel you're helping climate change and the environment by having less cotton products and no waste. Product arrived in a cardboard package, with net for washing and the correct number of pads that all look well made. Washed well. Need flattening out when drying and so good for use toner and removing makeup, then simply wash to use again. I find this really good value for money for the number of pads you get. Great product.

These are actually amazing. I was using a lot of disposable cotton pads and decided to buy some reusable ones as a small step to reducing my waste. You get lots in this pack, I actually found this one was cheaper to buy than the pack where you get less. These are so easy to wash, just chuck them in the washing machine in the little bag, which I do whenever I do my light wash & they even go in the tumble drier if needs be! They are also so damn soft, I fell in love with them!

Love these! Nice and soft and wash well (i am not a big make up wearer though, but whatever make up was leftnon pad did wash out.) A few things I noticed about use: It tells you to moisten the pad before use, and it helps! It means the product doesn't just schlep off the pad. After washing, stretch them out a bit to retain shape (and in my opinion softness). If removing make up, rinse as much off before washing, it helps keep them cleaner for longer. I have one that I use solely for nail polish removal as obviously that doesn't wash off. I do find itt takes a bit more effort and remover to remove polish which some people might have issue with, but i think is fine. Some reviews said that the bag would open in the wash and the pads would scatter through the laundry. I don't know if that is the case, but I tie each string in a knot, close to the opening, rather than tying them together and have never had this problem. All in all though I'm very happy with this swap.
