First time setup requires you to be on 2.4ghz wifi. After the setup works with 5ghz wifi too. Don't use syska app. Use smart life app that integrates with Alexa and Google assistant directly so you can control the lights by talking to your phone. Overall great product. Update 09-Oct-2021: The LED bulb stopped working. Its just 3 months. These smart led bulbs from syska and wipro don't have life. I have tried contacting Syska through their support number they mentioned on their website. No one attending my call. Also the product registration form on their website is not working. I have sent them email with invoice. Lets see if they replace the product. I will update here. I am not changing review star for now as i believe some one from syska will reply on my email provide solution. Update 03-May-2022:- The led was replaced within a week and is working good until now.

This is one of a good product that I am buying from the Amazon I am using it for more than 3 years there is no such issue we can control it with the app but the app keeps on login out there are some issues with the app offered but the product is great and must be considerable the colour option is wide and pretty much suitable

I brought with eco dot 12 w on 50% brightness it can brighten your room fully .i want to buy more but if you buy it solo it's too much expensive .i hope they lower their price range .it have many features with many colours ,easy to install , integration with Alexa is smoot. It's only 3 weeks i will write again after few months.lets see how it go.

when i received the product i didnt able to connect it with alexa so i return the product.. later i came to know that there is an issue with my router settings thats why it was not working.. i feel every bad after knowing this.. someone sold me this and i returned the item thinking it was faulty.. i am really sorry.. i dont know i the seller will read my comment or amazon will delete this.. if youre reading this i am sorry.. i apologize for the cause.. So if anyone facing issue with connecting it read this carefully it might help you.. Steps to connect - ( Make sure youre connected to 2.4Ghz WIFI Network , If youre on 5Ghz then switch to 2.4Ghz Network) 1. Turn on the light 2. Turn it on for 3 times ( off-on-off-on-off-on) 3. it will blink continously 4. Then click on add on the app.. then select light (wifi) option 5. then it will ask you for wifi password.. make sure your wifi name is showing then just enter the wifi password. 6. Boom!! Its Connected. MOST IMPORTANT THING - If the bulb does not connect even after 100% then there is a setting you need to do in your router.. Open your router settings then in DHCP Server add dns BEST DNS Servers According to me 1. Cloudflare Primary DNS - 1.1.1.1 Secondary DNS -1.0.0.1 2. Google DNS Primary DNS - 8.8.8.8 Secondary - 8.8.4.8 Then click on save.. after this if the bulb does not connect then there maybe some issue with the bulb itself.. I bought this bulb, and it completely stopped working within six (6) months of use. The claim was made in April 2023, and the service guy confirmed the LED Bulb was defective and needed replacement. However, as of today, January 2024, despite almost 19 follow-ups through emails and countless calls, the service has been terrible. They've completely stopped responding to my emails, leaving me stuck with no resolution to my warranty claim with Syska. If you're thinking to purchase it, take this review as a strong warning not to buy any Syska product, including this LED bulb. You'll likely be really disappointed when the product not only breaks but stops working altogether after just a few months, and there's no way to get it fixed under warranty. So, I strongly advise against getting this smart LED bulb or any other Syska product. I'm planning to escalate this complaint by taking legal action through the consumer court soon.

This was nice but it got defective in next 4 months

I bought this product as a substitute for night light, only for use when my primary LED tube seems too bright. Based on it I will say its definitely worth the money. I personally found the app very user friendly. Pairing was very easy,hasslefree and fast. Thoughh sometimes the bulb takes some time to respond, for the most times its response is fast. The bulb definitely cannot be used as a primary light source, but as a secondary source its worth the money. The colours are pretty vivid and the brightness adjustment is just fabulous as long as u don't wish it to be as bright as a tube light. I recently bought it so don't know about the durability as yet. But definitely value for money.
