The cherry stoner has an extremely flimsy base made of thin rubber. It comes with one spare. Both of them were worn through within less than an hour leaving the whole thing useless. Also, when it was working, the cherries often did not pop out into the bowl and I had to fish them out. When the rubber base wore through it took most of the cherry with it into the stone tray. I ended up doing them by hand. If it had a tougher plate it would be a better design. A complete waste of money.

This product is cheaply produced. The plastic is fragile and gives no confidence it will last, the rubber sizing piece split on the first piece of fruit.

Das Gerät von Leifheit funktioniert einfach super ! Hatte bis jetzt einen Kirschentsteiner von DDR-Zeiten bzw. als Ersatz einen "Möchtegernnachbau". Den Nachbau kannste in die Tonne kloppen. Da passt gar nichts und man muss fast jede Kirsche einzeln zum Entsteinen zuführen. Also klare Kaufempfehlung für den Leifheit !!!

Cet appareil remplace un dénoyauteur de la même marque que j'ai utilisé pendant 10 ans. Il était usé au niveau du guidage du poinçon. Le nouveau modèle me plaît bien car il sera plus facile à nettoyer et à ranger. Le carton d'emballage est plus costaud donc plus facile à manœuvrer dans son rangement dans un placard. Je n'ai pas encore essayé le dénoyauteur mes confitures de cerises sont terminées, mais je suis sûr que je le garderai 10 ans. PS : je coupe les cerise en 4 pour être sûr qu'il ne reste pas de noyaux (j'ai des petits enfants)

Love this lil guy! Takes out pits like a champ, only missed 1 pit out of an ice cream bucket full of cherries and it took no time at all to get them all done. The price is awesome, it's set up is great and easy to use with multiple catching bowls for your cherries. I have used this with small tart cherries and it made fast work with the ability to center them and pit them faster than with the hand held lil guy I have, only missed a few but that was user malfunction LOL Clean up is a breeze because it disassembles quick and easy. Great design and works perfectly.
