My story is long, and may not yet be over, but so far I am impressed with this product and felt compelled to tell my story. We brought our new puppy (Finley) home a year ago March, not knowing he came with Giardia:( Within a week, I noticed he was going up to 6 times a day, and at night in the crate. Every morning he would be covered in it and I knew something had to be wrong. The vet diagnosed him with Giardia and put him on Panacur, Flagyl and a probiotic. Within a few weeks our 1 year old dog (Theo) had also contracted it, so back to the vet we went. The one year old cleared up and has NOT had Giardia since, but Finley has had a total of only about 3 weeks "Giardia free" in the last year. We have switched vets. (we wanted a vet closer to home because of the frequent visits!) The new vet also ran more extensive (and expensive!) tests to be sure there was no other parasite (cryptosporidia) present to complicate the treatment. The new vet has also contacted Purdue Veterinary school for any further or new treatment options. It has been an entire year of spending money, time and frustration on my dogs poop! (But let me tell you, he's the CUTEST DOG EVER so he's worth it!) I also need to point out that we live on several acres, so keeping the yard "clean" is virtually impossible since Ive been told Giardia is present in almost every animals feces- we have deer, geese, rabbits and even fox roaming our yard, and water-we have a pond. We bath him frequently and wipe his butt with baby wipes when he comes in and thats about all we can do without landing ourselves in a psych ward! About 3 weeks ago, after being told for only the 2nd time in a year that Fin was Giardia free, he began showing symptoms again within a week. I was DEVASTATED! I began googling "chronic Giardia in dogs"(which I have done before, but this time I was determined to find a different answer!) I came across a veterinary blog which suggested that being on Flagyl for extended periods of time was NOT good for the animal and could have many side effects, and that the digestive systems of these dogs would benefit from a respite from these meds. I have had him on a probiotic for many months during his treatment and continued with this after he tested Giardia free, but I read the digestive system in these dogs can be so out of balance from being on an antibiotic for such an extended period of time that the med may not even be able to work with their messed up systems. At that point I was so disappointed that I hadn't realized I may be harming him worse by giving him this antibiotic, and was thinking of just letting his system "recover" for a few months as long as his stools didn't get dangerously frequent/runny or bloody. Then I came across the website for a ranch that sells Kochi free. I began reading fantastic reviews about this product and googled the product further and every site that had it had great reviews. I thought I have nothing to lose, but didn't want to get my hopes up after a year of disappointments. I ended up ordering it from Amazon when I found it here because of the free shipping and quick delivery. (yay amazon!) Finley finished his first 10 day treatment of Kochi free about a week ago. He had SOLID poo's the whole time he was on Kochi, was going on schedule and had no accidents in the house...this was my MIRACLE!!! However, with in the last 2 days, he went on a poo pad in his "bedroom" at night so I am pretty sure its NOT gone. I just got off the phone with a rep from Amber Technologies who told me to keep him on it for 6 weeks. He said Giardia is the most difficult parasite to rid from the body (which I also have been told from my vet) and that after the 6 weeks/4 times a day dose, to give him just one dose a day to keep the parasite away! SO, I will check back in a few months to update as this parasite has dominated the last year of my life and if I can find something to obliterate it, I will want to shout it from a rooftop and let everyone know! If it works, I will also be sharing this product with my vet! He had told me he has several dogs in both of his offices that have Giardia that won't respond to treatment. This parasite has mutated and become resistant to standard treatments and is very hardy. I PRAY this works and will be sure to give an update either way!

I adopted the sweetest lab/pit mix from a shelter who had a bad case of giardia. It was an absolute nitemare getting woke up every nite to a dog with explosive diarrhea. After taking him back to the shelter for antibiotics & two other vets bombarding him with even more meds he still had the giardia. I bought hundreds of $ of disinfectant, probiotics, pee pads ect I gave up on conventional medicine and then I came across Kochi Free and have been giving him 4 ccs three xs a day and I have seen significant improvement in his poop. He was pooping 5 to 7 xs a day before introducing this product. Now he's only going 2 - 3xs a day. I'm praying this product will actually free him forever from the parasite. This product is the REAL DEAL! I'm a bengal breeder and when my kittens were around 6 weeks old.. one of the kittens had diarrhea and since they're not really eating solid foods at that age yet she declined within 24hours. it was like all of a sudden I looked up and she was skinny as rail, not eating, and diarrhea-ing not in the litter box...which even at that age was a huge red flag. She had Coccidia and was practically on her death bed... I had already ordered Drontal from overseas which but it takes over a month to get here sometimes. I saw how quickly she had declined so i knew time was of the essence. so I started researching home remedies and holistic healing ways of getting rid of parasites naturally. Thank god I did! I realized that the mom had it as well and had passed it down to that kitten only. I came across the Wolf Creek Ranch website and saw the reviews and ordered immediately from amazon. it came in one day. I had been force feeding her raw chicken and kitten milk replacer so she wasn't losing weight as rapidly but still chronic diarrhea. I started her on the prescribed dose 4x a day for the first 10 days. by the second day I could already see her appetite picking back up and her stool was still soft but not liquid. it was a miracle. the package says you can treat 30 days in a row or as needed so I treated all my cats for 10 days... and the two that were infected for 30. It was like a miracle...but the 5th or so day she was completely eating on her own and back to a normal weight. Saved that little girls life! Before we brought this product into our program we had random bouts of diarrhea that would come and go...this is very frustrating as we know cats love to climb and be all over everything...so diarrhea is really a nightmare. happy to say that since this incident we have never had diarrhea. so even if you just want to regulate/normalize your pets stools holistically and safely choose Kocci Free!!! There are some really pesky parasites out there that don't always go away from the expensive pharmaceuticals the vet prescribes.... Kocci treats coccidia, giardia, and even TTF and it will do it in record time. ok this is the end of my rant. I just want you all to know how amazing this product is!!!

Great product, have used it before for Giardia. The one improvement that should be made is too have an eyedropper that reaches to the bottom of the bottle. Currently its being sent with the small dropper from the small bottle size.

My 4 y/o German Shepherd was diagnosed with coccidia in November after a bout of bloody vomiting and diarrhea. We did a protocol of albon and metronidazole for 10 days followed with a 3 day course of panacur-C. She was also put on omeprazole and Pepcid for burping and acid reflux. She seemed better for a few days then her stool was back to being as formed as half-baked chocolate cake and really stinky/mucus-y. Then, and much to my horror, it got worse even though multiple trips to the vet for stool checks showed no parasites (via fecal float). My vet had me give her Imodium and the rx RC Fiber response diet - if that didn’t work he suggested an ultrasound which I did not want to do at all. It seemed to help for a few days until her stool was so nasty I panicked and took her to the emergency vet who suspected she had giardia based on her stool, coat condition and other symptoms. She was put back on another 10 day round of metro along with a probiotic. The ER vet also shared that giardia is very difficult to diagnose via fecal float and just because it’s not showing up doesn’t mean it’s not there. Doggo was ok for a week or so but then the stool wasn’t great again: formed but soft, greenish color, mucus-y and sometimes very stinky. I took her to a holistic vet who did another stool check (nothing) and put her on rx clay. The clay did help, but if I didn’t give it to her the stool was back to gross. At my wits end and beside myself for my girl’s health I started scouring websites and forums looking for any other alternatives since modern medicine wasn’t helping. I came across a recommendation to try Kochi Free and I figured why the heck not? After being on it for 2 days her stool was the best it’s looked in over 2 months. She’s been on it now for 5 days and doing great. She’s also completely off the Pepcid which makes me so happy. I found the Kochi protocol of 10 days on, 10 off, then back on for 10 which is what I’m doing. I also added something called MSM which is supposed to be a great addition. After reading so much about giardia and what a total PITA it is and how many other pet parents have gone through the same mess we’ve been through, I’m so relieved to have found something that seems to be really working and it’s natural!! Hopefully others who might be in similar situation read this (long and maybe gross at times) review and find it helpful for them.

Great for dogs with sensitive tummies.

My 5 month old great dane came to us with Giardia. After the first bout of medicine from the vet, she was good for about 2 weeks and then she had explosive diarrhea again, and was positive for giardia (im sorry for being graphic, but that’s just really how it is) and I decided to try this. Today was the first full day on Kochi Free, and it seems to have made her diarrhea even worse. She pooped 3 times in the span of 20 minutes in her crate after having just been outside and went #2 multiple times. I am thinking this is either flushing out her system or just absolutely wrecking her system. I guess we will see in a couple of days, I’ll update the review as I go along EDIT: Well, after using this religiously and switching my Dane’s food to Nutro Lamb and Rice blend, her poop has been much more firm and we haven’t had a bout of rogue, explosive diarrhea in this house for months now. Only time was when she started darted to the back yard and went nuts drinking pool water. Other than that, she is now almost 10 months old, 130 pounds and went from 7-4pm alone at the house without an accident. Definitely will purchase this again, this and pepto bismol was a huge help.

After one round of Fenbendazole and Metronidazole, as well as steralizing everything in sight, this product helped cure my puppy of Giardia, within ten days of initial use. I used as directed for a 16 pound dog - ten drops, four times a day. I broke up little pieces of a chewy training treat, and placed the drops in this middle - which my dog ate right up. I am still picking up my dog's poop in the yard ASAP, pulling out the grass in the area, and spraying bleach water in that area - I also use tushy wipes to wipe his behind when I can, right after he poops. I am still washing his bedding & toys every few days, and every other time, I add ammonia to the washing machine (soap already inserted). I also try to clean my floors every week. I am keeping a sheet over the couch and have been changing it every day. I add a tablespoon of pure pumpkin puree to each meal he eats, and also add probiotics (I bought at the pet food store) in the morning. After starting the meds, he no longer had diarrhea after a day, but his afternoon poops were still soft-serve looking and sticking to the ground (when I picked them up with poop bags) in the afternoon & evening times - so then, I started the Kochi Healthy Stools - after ten days his poops are back to normal looking in the afternoon and evening - I will continue to use the one-ounce bottle until it runs out :-) I highly recommend you try this product, rather than repeat visits to the Vet, spending all that money, time crazy cleaning, and of that extra Fenbendazole and Metronidazole in your doggie can't be good!! Try this product for sure!
