AOC 27" Curved Gaming Monitor FHD 240Hz VA AMD FreeSync Premium HDR C27G2Z

Purchased 2 of these Monitors December 2024 (about 1 3/4 years) and still use them daily. I really like the definition/color, 240Hz and overall size. I like Gaming to relax after work (Yes, I'm a Man Child lol) Using 2 of these hold up well with a good refresh rate and allows for plenty of Monitor space for Discord, Steam, streaming Movies, Gaming, and Gaming support websites all at the same time. The price for these monitors are still very good after all this time

This monitor has treated me well for a year or two now. Absolutely amazing value for the price and perfectly true to its performance ratings. Super easy to use with any basic knowledge and very versatile with the universal mounts on the back. No speakers, but for everything else you absolutely can’t complain. I love the built in crosshair and the viewing angles are absolutely perfect. AOC is still the budget king!

Good monitor for the price i’ve had it for 3 years no problems

I use a triple monitor setup for my PC gaming, so I bought three of these. I purchased the G2 model with only Full HD (1080p), but I got the 240Hz models that are curved. I have to say that these are very impressive for the price. The curve really works great when you line three of these monitors up, bezel to bezel. The curve is almost perfectly continuous across all three monitors, creating a great immersive gaming experience. They have adaptive sync and can refresh up to 240 times per second, so they are basically made for gaming. I only have a 10xx series Nvidia GPU, but it does support adaptive sync and the current Nvidia drivers allow these monitors to quickly be enabled for adaptive sync usage. I had to adjust the refresh rate in the Nvidia Control Panel in order to remove the refresh limits, but after doing so my games are running buttery smooth with no ghosting or blur. I LOVE IT!!! Unlike some of the other reviewers, I see no dead pixels on any of the three units I purchased. They came packaged well and were completely undamaged upon arrival. They came with a DP and an HDMI cable too, so that's nice. The only negative thing I have to say is that there is some backlight bleed through that is apparent when the screens are dark and the room is also dark. But as soon as something is displayed on the screens the bleed through around the edges is not noticeable. For $300 each, I really can't complain. I'd buy these again, and again, and again. And the adaptive sync works great with Nvidia GPUs even though these monitors are not officially approved by Nvidia. I think they soon will be though.

Amazing monitor! I bought this after wanting a curved monitor for my first gaming PC and this has done the job! It’s a wonderful monitor for not a crazy price. It’s durable, and has even made it through a move. You can tilt it so it’s facing upwards or straight towards you. It’s crisp, smooth, and bright. I love this monitor and will buy from this brand again.

This should be a 4.5 Star Review. This is my first curved monitor. I'm using it as a transition monitor and eventually a second monitor on my first computer upgrade in about 5 years. I'm an Apple user shifting from an iMac to a Mac mini then a Mac Studio. It comes pre-set to the next to highest resolution. This is a resolution downgrade from the standard Apple monitor. However, the highest one looks much better, but text is so tiny it's almost unreadable. Great for hight resolution gaming, but I don't spend most of my time gaming. So the displayed fonts are larger than on the Apple Monitor. Since it is currently further away, that's fine. Just a little getting used to. I haven't tried the other settings yet. That comes once I get everything migrated. I like the curve and how the edges seem at the same distance as the center. So it looks flat unless you look very closely. For the reading and writing I do, it works very well. Movies and videos look great on it right out of the box

Great monitor for the price! I used this one reliably for over 5 years and only had to replace it because I damaged it in a move. Never had any issues with quality or playing games on this monitor.

Very good quality, cheap and good performance but unfortunately there is no built in speaker as mentioned we should connect with external speaker.

Brilliant and great value for money

When running at 240hz, it looks basically perfect. Some blurring on the blurbusters UFO test, but when looking at moving images, it just looks exactly like your eyes would expect. I don't think there's a better monitor out there for the price if you want 1080p at a high refresh rate.
