Ordered a LARGE per the sizing/measuring instructions and it fits perfect. The visor works smoothly, positive clicks but easy enough to lift/lower. Quick-release chin strap is pretty much a must now as the ol' D-rings is sooo 1970's. Nice looking helmet and is MUCH better made than the "Fuel" brand you get at the Wally World. Cheaper, too. I hope and pray to NEVER find out how it would fare in a crash but I expect at least as good as any other helmet in its price class. First impressions, I like it. And for the reasonable price, even if the interior starts to fall apart after a couple years, who cares-- get another one.

Fits well, has a good style, and is comfortable. I’d give it five stars, but I don’t notice much of a difference with airflow between vents open and vents closed.

I hate full face helmets but I'm getting old and promised the kids and grand kids. I picked this one based only on how light it said it was. Didn't fit great but usable. Over all OK. Asked amazon and direct about the fit and hear is where they both really earned the 4 and 5 stars!! It was great!! Sent new foam inserts changing the size just a nuf to make it a better fit. Both helmet and new inserts showed up promptly! As for the looks, Im old but all the younger riders in my circle said it looks great! Only got about 250 Miles in it but all in bad weather and so far so good! and ventilation is as good as my hi end Shoei it replaced. the customer service alone was worth every dime. My son likes it better than his Bell he just got. cost around 300. I would agree!! So value for the money I think is great!! Hope this helps! And keep in mind this is coming from some one who hates full face helmets!!

Overall seems like a great helmet, sadly I couldn't use it as they must run decently large for the size, ordered a small and it fit like a medium to large. Oh well, great looking helmet otherwise

Good helmet for kids. Not enough vents for riding in various conditions. It is one of the lightest in my collection.

I bought this specifically for long rides where I don’t care about rock chips/bugs/etc. The tinted visor is actually a really good in-between visor because it’s really not that dark so I can actually wear it at night and see fine, but it also blocks enough light during the day. Not top notch but it’s definitely a decent helmet considering the price. I measured my head and I came up with a large size so that’s what I ordered, however it’s a little bit too big for me.

I needed a new helmet because my old helmet vents were broken off in the closed position making it a terrible helmet for the summer this red ilm helmet cought my eye I took my chance in purchasing it boy I was glad that I did this helmet is Dot approved, its light wieght no more neck cramps !😁👍keep in mind that you should by 2 sizes difference my old helmet was a small fit a bit tight causing headaches so i bought a size medium with this ilm red helmet to my surprise it fit tighter then my small old helmet i had to shave down the inner styrofoam just a tad now the helmet fits perfectly this company does say to call them for a different liner if the helmet size needs adjustments I didn't because the liner would not helped in my case I had to ether send the helmet back for a larger size or take my drimall and shave off a little of the inner styrofoam inside the helmet!😁👍I choose to custom fit my helmet and it fits so perfectly now ....!😎👍I like the 2 visors it comes with rented and clear ,I like that its light wieght and Dot approved, I like the looks of it making this helmet the perfect helmet for me ...!😎👍

I had an issue with sizing which was completely my fault. It fit a bit larger for me and I usually wear a Fox Helmet in xl which fit amazing. I contacted cs for ILM and they said no problem we will send you a new liner to make it for a little tighter. Took a week and sure enough it showed up as promised and made the helmet fit perfect. I will not hesitate to purchase another helmet from ILM. If only helmet companies made cool stickers and included them in the box like old school companies used to. Great Helmet so far. Fits great on my head. I personally don't like the black tint because I like seeing all the colors around me so it's nice they have both colors. Got it for my M1 course and did the job for a good price

Helmet fits great. Used in 30+ degree weather all summer and it didnt get too hot. Ventilation is limited but worked ok. Weight isnt too heavy and the padding/ ching strap amd clip work perfect. My only issue is ive had the visor pop off the left side a couple times from flipping the visor all the way up. The way the visor attaches to the helmet is simple enough but for some reason my left side is finicky. Now if I am conscious and don't flip it up all the way then im good. But its happened a couple times while in a hurry running into the shops and I have to stop and sit and play with the visor and reinstall it being careful to not crack or break the clip. Wasn't expecting that maintenance.
