This and my TUO Nakiri knife are my two most used knives. This knife has some weight for heavy thick-skinned squash and yet so sharp and precise for quickly mincing onion and julienning carrots without much effort! It feels so good in your hand, and the way the blade moves is so natural you’ll be chopping in a trance. I can cut meat super thin for stir fries as well. No need to wash many knives for basic home cooking. I don’t even reach for my other santoku and chef knives anymore. I’ll likely donate them and streamline my stash. I also purchased the paring knife and the filet knife for special tasks. But for most everything else, these two are my go to. I’ve had this cleaver for a couple months and made kabocha earlier this week. Effortless! Be very careful! This has cut easily through chicken bones without so much more as a graze.My Nakiri I’ve had for a year or more. Still sharp and sturdy! I love this brand so much my mom and mother in law are both in love too! They also offer deals from time to time, so keep watch and don’t hesitate!!

This is a functional and beautiful cleaver. This cutlery is eye catching, well balanced, and holds an edge. The weight is as expected, which aides in cutting. The cleaver will out last me.

This cleaver makes me feel like I belong in Hells Kitchen lol, absolutely amazing, built well, and pretty light for the materials, in Love with the knife.

This thing goes through potatoes like butter. Can’t wait to cut a yuge squash up with this.

Received the item and inspected the workmanship. It's as great as advertised. Blade is well balanced which is a plus. Extremely sharp still ran it over the leather Strap just a habit. Passed the paper cutting test, and thinly sliced tomatoes with just using the weight of the knife and movement. Great investment superior to my Kershaw collection.

The blade seems decent. Cuts well. Holds well. They must have had a master photographer or more likely a master photoshopper because the color they show in the layers does not exist. It's silver and opauqish silver. Almost looks plastic.

I use it everyday. It’s great quality.
