The quality of the cable is good. Sleeve is made of Teflon and slip easily in the ceiling or walls

I've been burned on online wire purchases before, where the AWG was nowhere near what it was rated (but it had a nice thick jacket to make you think it was.) This is a bona fide 14ga, and fine strand OFC. Not CCA. It's easy to work with, has sequential foot markings (so you know how long the run was, and how much is left on the spool), and strips easily. The insulation on the wires themselves is fairly hard, but will offer good protection. I had originally picked this spool up to wire just a couple surround speakers, but ended up replacing the wiring to the center and mains with this as well. I'll definitely buy more of this in the future.

Yoy can get good wire or cheap wire but cheap wire won't be good and good wire won't be cheap. Do yourself a favor and grab this stuff. It is great quality at a decent price.
