Excellent all round
Despite being slightly on the heavy side in comparison to other solar chargers I’ve owned this is a great purchase. It charges remarkably quickly in the sun and then charges my iphone from a very low % rapidly. To charge an appliance you must remember to switch the charger on as solely inserting the charging cable in both is not enough ( as I used to do with my previous solar chargers). The fact that you can charge three appliances at once is great and also the ports for regular USB and a USBC cable is a must in these days of both types of cable usage. It’s excellent value for money and highly recommended. The light function is a handy one with its steady, intermittent and rapidly flashing beam. It doesn’t come with a carabiner or other such way of attaching the solar charger to anything but there is an indentation with a bar on a corner which is there for this purpose.

Useful to charge phone wirelessly on long journeys
This was great for a long journey on the coach where there wasn't a power outlet to us. Charging time was relatively quick and I was able to use it to charge my fine on a long journey. It doesn't way much more than a phone in a case, also doubles as a torch which is convenient to use in the dark. Good ruggest quality, nice and portable so you can pack into your bag and take out when needed.

Reliable, durable and chunky solar power bank with a few extras.
A few weekends ago, I ran out of battery while taking a day trip to a faraway city in a distant land. My phone - my map, guide, and music player - rapidly ran out of juice. Even plugged into the car USB port, it drained fast. I had to delay my return journey for a couple of hours, as I needed Waze to help navigate the roads home. And then I had to go without connecting it to my car speaker via Bluetooth as well, which was also pants. So, I didn't want this problem to happen again. What I needed was a power bank. I've never bought a power bank before, but this was appealing because of the option to charge it via solar panels. I've done a few tests. The first thing test was to charge my phone, a 900-lumen torch and something else as well at the same time. This other thing was a sex vibrator, by the way. Anyway, after plugging those three devices in, and after a few hours, it had 3/4 battery indicator LEDs left. But the torch and the vibrator weren't charging from empty. So that doesn't tell us much. What is more Illustrative is that I charged my phone from nearly empty in about an hour and a half with the USC c port to USB wall/wall socket. Again, the power bank was fully charged. It didn't lose any of its LEDs. So based on that, there must be enough juice to charge my phone up 5 or 6 times at least. Also, it charged up my Huawei laptop's 56wh lithium-ion battery to 80% before running out. It's fair to say that it's a solution to my original problem. Though, I could have solved this for cheaper and didn't really need the solar charging option. The panels are responsive, kicking in as soon as placed into daylight. They didn't work on a windowsill with daylight coming in (it was a cloudy day, though). I haven't tested this yet, but I guess it will take AGES to charge up via solar. So for the usual purposes, there's no need for it - it's much quicker and simpler to plug into a wall socket. But I am still glad I got one with solar panels, as I think that's neat. And reassuring to know I can get electricity completely independently from a power grid, should I ever want or need to do that. It's awesome to have wireless charging as well. There are, in total, four ways to charge, which can be done simultaneously; 2 x USB, 1 x USB c and a wireless connection by placing the device on one side of the power bank. The only downside, for me, is the size - it's chunky and takes up more space than other power banks. But that does mean it'll be more resilient to getting damaged, which is definitely a plus.

NOT FUNCTIONAL in practical terms, as a Solar Charger. Update Sept.'23, purchases Dec'22 & Mar'23
UPDATE SEPT'23 For combined reasons I have now tried FIVE of these "Solar" Chargers (Two RIAPOW & three HILUCKEY, which in my opinion all come from the same factory). NONE of them have any practical use if you want them to charge by sunlight. The solar panels produce such a small current that, in my view, is actually used up by the status indicator lights. They DO NOT charge the internal battery AT ALL, even after extended periods (days) in unobstructed good light. The suppliers, when contacted initially, were very quick to refund the purchase price BUT made it very clear by inference that they were unwilling to swap them for units that actually worked properly. As a mains charged power bank they are adequate only, but there are more compact & capable units that do not weigh quite as much. Therefore it makes no sense to buy these. I would love to hear from people that write so called independent test reviews, to find out where they got their working versions from! I cannot now recommend these units and in the absence of any fully/correctly working ones would actually discourage you from buying these. Two of these are also showing discolouration to the orange silicone (?) raising questions to the durability of hose parts too. Somewhat sad, because the base idea is very good. Original Review:- {Sept'23: No further response received}: Bought two on this order. Chunky device that feels substantial as if it should last. Great as a portable charger once it has been charged from MAINS POWER - large capacity refuels my phone multiple times. Later then bought a third one as a gift for a friend. Sadly I then found the problem. We didn't get any decent weather for a long time so I only recently got to try the SOLAR charging. NEITHER unit will charge by sunlight. The indicators show that the solar panel is active and the level indicators cycle through the four blue led's. However, both units FAIL to create a stored charge even after three full days under unobstructed good daylight. I contacted the manufacturer and to their credit they DID give a full refund for the two, but could not explain why the units do not work as they should. At that time, the third one I bought DID charge by sunlight, BUT in the last few days (2 June 2023), it ALSO NOW WILL NOT CHARGE IN SUNLIGHT even though the indicators show it to be working. To sum up:- Sadly NOT a GOOD BUY for the intended purpose and is only good as a high capacity power pack once charged from the mains. Have to wait and see what the response is about the third unit not now working properly.

Great power bank for hiking, exploring and camping!
Took this out hiking loads, its taken a few knocks and scrapes but fully happy still. It can charge my iphone 7+ 6 times and anything else like a nintendo switchs that need to go camping... I took this away on a camping holiday earlier this year and ran my phone off it for 3 days no issues (camped with no electic hookup) and I'd used it a lot for maps and navigation. The solar charge alone is almost a trickle charge (say if the power banks empty)- so I've been out with the bank empty once and managed to charge off the sun very slowly to my phone. Not ideal but its better than nothing. The bank does charge via solar obviously however this is quite slow, so would deffo advise charging it via a plug first and then top it up as your out walking and enjoying the weather. Its brill you have the option to charge via solar just in case as every bit of power helps when you need it :) Cant fault the durability and battery life, this is a worthwhile product even if your phone battery is going and you need a power bank to get around, it has multiple usb's out so you can charge multiple things at once too which is amazing. BUY THIS! :D

Solar isn't quite there
I have mixed feelings about solar chargers like this. I want to love them as I believe alternative energy is extremely important and that solar is part of our future. This power bank is well built, if rather large and heavyweight which reduces the portability of it, as you couldn't carry it around in your pocket! The solar charge does work, but it takes a long time and has to be positioned in very direct sunlight for it to work at all. It also can be charged directly from power, which is much faster and more reliable, but kind of defeats the point of having something like this! This has multiple charging points and also the convenience of wireless charging which is a nice touch, but wireless charging does take significantly longer. Using wired mode, charging speed is decent and from a full battery I was able to charge my galaxy 9 about 3 1/2 times fully. This is definitely a good product within the solar charging market, and would be useful to people going camping that can keep it topped up in regular sunlight, but I think the weight of it reduces it's practical portability, and the slow charging of the solar unit hasn't convinced me that solar power banks are anywhere near ready to conquer the market from more portable, regular options.

Best things I’ve ever purchased
This charger is magnificent. I never charge my phone and I’m too impatient at letting it charge fully. I bought this with little hope it will last and honestly I love it. It takes a while to fully charge (the solar charging function isn’t worth it, 6 hours in direct sun for only one bar out of 4 charge.) once charged via plug socket this did my iPhone 7 times from 1% to full and my daughters IPad from dead to 76% before it needed charging again so that is almost 8 full charges. I take it everywhere and everyone uses it. I just took it away camping and it was a god send for the rainy days to charge my daughters Nintendo switch and my phone. Don’t hesitate to get this I tell everyone I know to buy one!

Volle 5 Sterne.
