Is this a diecast metal car or plastic?

I bought this for my grandson and he has already taken it home with him. I think it was diecast metal. He loved this and the TowMater that changes color also.

What color is lightning mcqueen when it arrives? want to use for cake topper that my son can have afterward

Most of the packages have it in red first but there are a few rare ones that have it the opposite. If you want to make sure to get the color you need you might have to special order from a seller that merchant fulfills. Hope that helps and happy birthday!
