A: One car.

**Q: Is this a diecast metal car or plastic?**
A: I bought this for my grandson and he has already taken it home with him.  I think it was diecast metal.  He loved this and the TowMater that changes color also.

**Q: What color is lightning mcqueen when it arrives? want to use for cake topper that my son can have afterward**
A: Most of the packages have it in red first but there are a few rare ones that have it the opposite. If you want to make sure to get the color you need you might have to special order from a seller that merchant fulfills. Hope that helps and happy birthday!
