Review: Great costume! - I purchased this for my teenaged sons. They are 5'10" or so and 180-ish. The Adult medium size fit them just fine. The fake leather part of the costume (brown) was, of course, all wrinkled when it arrived squished in the package. I was able to smooth it out by ironing on a low setting from the backside with a damp cloth. I think if you used a high heat the "fabric" would melt. So, be very careful! The white undergarment is very thin. You will need to wear shorts under it. The red cape is awesome. And, all the accessories that come with the costume are adjustable - the arm bands, the headband, the leg things...great stuff! The wrist covers are a little big but not overly so. The little kids at VBS this summer were very impressed with the "Roman soldiers" that came to see them.

A: Yes I think you would be fine! My boyfriend is about 5'10" but there were another guy a few inches shorter than him wearing it, and it was great. He has actually worn it 3 times now for different events!

A: I can't see any difference. You might need to contact the seller.

A: Check the measurements on the size chart. This is a mens sized costume so it would probably be too large for him unless you modify it.

**Q: What is the armor made of? Plastic?**
A: This entire costume is vynil. Molded plastic breastplates are out there but not in this package. I finished it with a cool plastic helmet though and no one even noticed

This costume looked great on my muscular-build, 5'11" husband. He is about 175 lbs and we got a medium. He complained about the bicep straps not feeling secure, but after I told him how hot he looked in them, he kept them on 😅

I wear an XL and bought the XL. I felt it was a little large for me. I'm 6 foot tall and about 190. Total Dad Bod, I have skinny arms though, so the cuffs were oversized, and the arm bands just made my arms look smaller. The leg wraps stayed pretty well and didn't try to work around my leg too much as I had feared they would. I know that sounds like a lot of negative, but that is about it. After that I would say that this was a very successful Halloween costume. I looked pretty good in it, and looked like I spent more than I actually did on it. At least when comparing to what my friends spent on their costumes, this was a great buy and well worth the money. Make sure you get some brown sandals though, it does look pretty odd if you don't have the footwear to match. If you can find some like the model has you'll be set.
