These were just exactly what we needed. My little guy had a neurological problem and his back legs don’t work well. Consequently, his little back feet were sliding all over the place on our laminate and tile floors. I placed yoga mats down all around the house and that couldn’t last forever. These fit him great and he doesn’t bother them at all. They stay on. I think he understands they help. I don’t have to put them on too tightly so I’m not worried about it if I’m not in eyesight all the time. He’s a 10 lb Jack Russell/Poodle mix and I got a small.

I live in Arizona, where summer temperatures easily reach 115–120°F, which means the pavement gets even hotter. There’s really no avoiding it when you have a dog—it’s full sun for most of the day here. I’ve been using these socks for 3 years now, and I cannot recommend them enough. These are not like the hard dog shoes that make dogs walk awkwardly. These are soft socks with a durable, grippy bottom that protects their paws while still allowing natural movement. I’ve found that going a little larger in size works best since they are adjustable with a Velcro strap. They’re easier to put on when slightly bigger. That said, I did measure my dog’s paws according to the size chart, and it was accurate. My dog is about 55 pounds, and I buy the large size for him. My dog doesn’t fight these at all now. At first, he would take them off, but I gradually got him used to them. I started by getting him comfortable with me touching and handling his paws. Then I introduced the socks and rewarded him with treats. He would still take them off, but I let him, and we repeated the process. Over time, he became completely comfortable with them. The real turning point came during his first Arizona summer. I took him outside without them, and he immediately stepped on the hot pavement and started lifting his paws. I put the socks back on, and from that point on, he never resisted them again. Now, we only use them when it’s over 100°F. He even lays on his back and lifts his paws to help me put them on. They wash well and don’t shrink much in my experience. I’d say one pair lasts about a month with regular use, and we go outside several times a day. They’re good quality, but since they’re made of fabric and used on rough pavement, they will wear down over time. That said, they’re reasonably priced, and the protection they provide is absolutely worth it. I can’t speak to how they perform in snow since we don’t get that here. I would guess they’re not ideal for wet or snowy conditions since they’re not waterproof. However, that’s actually a benefit in Arizona—I can lightly wet them, and it helps keep my dog’s paws cooler in extreme heat. It does take some time, patience, and consistency to get your dog used to wearing them, but it’s absolutely worth it if you live in a hot climate and want to protect their paws. Highly recommend.

As advertised. Keeps my dog from licking. My dog has allergies and licks when they flare up. He hates the cone so as an alternative, he wears clothing to keep him from licking certain areas. Hence why he's photographed in a shirt with these socks on. The socks are easy to put on and remove, though my dog is great about letting me dress him, so I don't know how easily they'd go on if your dog resisted. There is grip to them so your dog doesn't slide around and they don't immediately twist around with just walking around the house. They can get moved around during play but that's too be expected. There is some stretch to them, which I like, and the velcro strip helps keep them on. He's only been able to remove one sock while I was at work all day. They're socks so I don't walk him in our neighborhood when he's wearing them, but we do play in our yard. I'm sure he doesn't prefer socks, but he seems pretty comfortable in them. The socks fit his front paws only. I need longer socks for his rear paws. These are a good buy and I do recommend.

First I really loved these, but they only stayed on for about an hour before both of my dogs were able to take them off and to write through the Velcro strap. Super disappointed because they’re cute and they were able to walk in them very comfortably. They just won’t keep them on.

I got these for our 13 y/o 65lb labradoodle and they work great. They fit great and are not constrictive at all. They have the grippy on both sides, top and bottom, so if they get turned he still walks on the grippy spots. The strap, I was actually impressed with that. The socks and strap connect via a small metal snap, allowing you to use the strap - or not. I’ve always had issues with socks / shoes for our dogs because I was always afraid I’d get them on too tight or they’d keep falling off. These snap-on Velcro snaps are not hard and stiff, which I really like. I put them on and wrap them around his leg with my finger in the sock under the strap to ensure they are not too tight. I got these socks because of slippery floors, we have no carpet. We’ve had rugs all over the house - it’s ridiculous. I’ve now taken up several of the smaller (room connecting) rugs and had him walk on the floors - no slipping. At all. He doesn’t seem to mind the socks - hence getting them on so they’re not too tight. He’s not picking at them or anything. I wish I had found these for our girl who passed last October. She was 15 years old and had great difficulty walking even with all the rugs all over the place. One came off. My fault, I didn’t do the finger placement for sizing. I went to put it back in and he stood there very cooperatively letting me put it on. He knows they are a good thing. I will be ordering more. I highly recommend them! 👍🏼👍🏼

Large was the perfect size for my Aussie/Red Heeler. They stayed on the entire hike which was on a dirt/gravel trail. Last time I took her walking on this trail by the end of the walk she was limping because it hurt her feet. No limping this time!! So glad I purchased these.

When I put these on my Maltipoo he found is strange at first and walked funny especially the back legs but once he got use to them same day he walked in them fine. Very good in hot weather to keep his paws hot free. I even recommended them to my friend who also ordered them and said they are great.

We believe our 8 yo boxer had a stroke or vestibular disease. One morning he was fine, that evening he couldn't walk and keep his balance. We have tile and wood floors and he was slipping and sliding all over. After reading the reviews, I purchased these. They did help him from slipping and falling. They would slide down after wearing them and I had to keep pulling them back up. One of them, the velcro had broken. I feel this product gave my pet confidence in walking. Once he fell, he was scared and would just lie on the floor. These definitely helped. I would recommend.

These little socks are perfect for my bichon who was munching and licking her paws due to an infection. I had been unsuccessfully and very stressfully, using one of my trainer socks with some micropore tape, but these just didn't stay on and were very difficult (and stressful for both me and Trixie) to get on and off. These little socks fitted perfectly (I made sure to measure as instructed before purchasing) and the Velcro meant they were easy to secure and also to remove when needed. The non-slip pads helped her to remain secure on the hardwood floors. They didn't seem to bother her at all and she was able to walk normally. They are easily washed as well - I washed by hand rather than machine as I didn't want the Velcro to get stuck on any other item of clothing. I would definitely recommend.

Bei uns kamen die Söckchen wegen einer verletzten Pfote zum Einsatz. Umso überraschter war ich, wie gut mein 15-jähriger Zwergpinscher sie akzeptiert hat. Ehrlich gesagt hatte ich mich auf deutlich mehr Protest eingestellt. Die ersten Schritte sahen zwar etwas unbeholfen aus, danach war der Socken aber schnell vergessen. Im Set sind gleich vier Söckchen enthalten. Da wir nur eine Pfote schützen müssen, ist das perfekt – so habe ich immer Ersatz, während die anderen gerade in der Wäsche sind. Für meinen Zwergpinscher habe ich mich anhand der Größentabelle für XXS entschieden. Die Größe passt gut. Eventuell würde eine Nummer größer das Anziehen etwas erleichtern, allerdings weiß ich nicht, ob die Söckchen dann noch genauso sicher sitzen würden. Das Anziehen selbst ist etwas fummelig, besonders wenn der Hund Pfoten anfassen ungefähr so toll findet wie einen Tierarztbesuch. Befestigt werden die Söckchen mit einem Klettband, das zusätzlich per Druckknopf am Socken fixiert wird. Das finde ich praktisch, denn so verrutscht das Band nicht. Ohne Klett rutschte der Socken bei uns allerdings recht schnell von der Pfote. Die Anti-Rutsch-Noppen sind auf Laminat und Fliesen wirklich Gold wert. Gerade ältere Hunde profitieren davon, weil sie deutlich sicherer laufen und nicht so leicht wegrutschen. Bei uns hält der Socken problemlos den ganzen Tag. Natürlich sind die weichen Söckchen nur für den Innenbereich gedacht. Für eine schnelle Runde in den trockenen Garten reichen sie aus, bei Regen, Schmutz oder längeren Spaziergängen braucht es aber einen richtigen Hundeschuh. Und mal ehrlich: Die kleinen Söckchen sehen einfach zuckersüß aus. Ich musste jedes Mal schmunzeln - zum Glück braucht mein Freund aber keinen zweiten Socken um ein freier Elf zu werden. 😁🐾 Für den vergleichsweise günstigen Preis bekommt man hier eine wirklich solide Qualität. Wer für Zuhause einen Pfotenschutz oder rutschfeste Hundesocken sucht, macht hier aus meiner Sicht nichts falsch.

Our dog has recently injured her spine, which is affecting her gate and how she moves her hind legs. These socks help her on our slippery floor boards in the house. They wash easily as well.

My 16 year old dog has arthritis, two older knee surgeries, and general weakness in her back legs and lower spine. I have hardwood floors and some rugs, but she has lost her confidence on the wood floors and has taken to lying on the rugs and whining whenever I leave the room. I started thinking about those rubber boots for dogs, came to Amazon looking for dog slippers, and found these. They arrived quickly, fit perfectly (I based the size on her paw measurements and the size chart), and she got used to them within just a minute or two. Now she feels better on the wood floors, and even seems to be a little stronger. Definitely more confident and no slipping at all. She even holds her body more naturally with the socks on.
