I usually put my pet things in the dryer after washing them as that gets the hair/fur off and it's caught in the lint trap of the dryer. If you dry the items outside then they will still have some hair on them when dry. I turn the bag inside out and hang it outside to get the hair off the inside of the bag :) **Q: I have used mine for the first time today and the bag with the dog fleece inside came out soaking wet even when I put it on an extra spin.** A: This could be down to the weight of water in the fleece.What I tend to do is unzip the protective mattress so only the top cover is going in the wash.The actual bed I spray with fabreez and hang on outside washing lige [weather permitting] for a hour or so.But the laundry bag is very good.imo. **Q: After the wash if the hair stays in the bag does it mean you can tumble dry the item without hair being left behind** A: Hi, we have a Staffi and his fur sticks in everything. And before using these wash bags, I wouldn’t want, to put our clothes in the washing machine. Or I would do a wash cycle, with know clothes in it. I put all of “Blues” bedding, wet towel after his bath; in the bag and zip it up. (We use a product called “VAMOOSH pet hair dissolver. Placed in the draw of washing machine, add your normal detergent and, was @ 90 degrees if possible.) When all pet items have finished washing, I put them in the Tumble dryer. (I unzip the bag so the items can, freely move, and turn the bag inside out) I remove any toys, that may bang, and make a noise 😆 Put on a tumble dry setting, that will dry the items. Don’t forget to clean your tumble dryer filter, when finished. For me I’m very pleased with the results, as I have seen what not using a Pet Washbag, can cause. The one time, I didn’t put “Blues” bedding, and toys in the bag. Un known to me, his stuff toy 🧸 had a tiny hole. Ended up with stuffing clogging up, the washing machine. And having to call a repair guy.
