Satya Nag Champa Incense Sticks- 250g, 100 Sticks, Hand Rolled in India, Export Quality

There are 2 things the 90s smell like. Teen Spirit and The Original Nag Champa. I have looked over the net and this is the only true one, the real one. That one I remember getting from the head shop then going home and jamming to Static X and Korn in my basement. The first 3 pics are this product. The others are different rip off ones I've found. Here's my breakdown: This one. The real one is the first 3 pics. The first give away is the box dosen't say Mumbai ANYWHERE on it. The other 2 do. Next, the stickers that close the box dont say Mumbai and they have a goldish almost hologram looking band on the top. The others say Mumbai and dont have the hologram looking sticker. One is just blue and red. The other is close but the gold isn't a hologram. Next, on the back there is a green leaf emblem. It's about being green and it's on the real Nag. Not on the fake. The fakes have a picture of the founder and a anniversary sticker. Next and most important the sticks. You can see the pic of the 3. The real one is on the top. The other 2 are fakes. One is darker and more caked with powder to give the illusion of hand rolled. You can see though the top picture is hand rolled but is not near as cakey. The smells are all different. The real one is the smooth velvety Nag smell we are all searching for. The other 2 are... not.. the fake in the darker blue box that is cakey smells ok. Like Nag but more floral and perfume like. The one in the almost green box straight sucks. Smells like burning boxes and flower petals. I got that from a place called Shamans Harvest. Stay away from there! It's the worst incense I've ever smelled. The fact it says Nag Champa is blasphemous in itself. The last couple things to notice is the inside of the box. The real one in the middle has that foriegn chinese type "cheap" cardboard and is dark on the inside. Has a stamp of some kind. The 2 fakes are very clean and have printing inside the box. Also the fakes have a gloss to the boxes. The real one doesn't at all. I ordered two of these from here and both were perfect. Hope this helps!

I know the brothers that make this split into two companies and people were saying that one of them doesn't smell the same as the old sticks. I made sure to order ones that had the Bengaluru address as reviews I have read were saying that is the address that has the ones that smell like the original from a few years back. I compared the address on the box to the one I have from a couple years ago and everything was the same so I was sure that I got the correct one. I have to say the scent is not quite like the old one of a couple years ago. The scent of these is a little lighter of a scent and I really like it better. It's like the same scent but lighter if that makes sense. There does not seem to be as much loose powder in the package as before and the sticks seem to burn longer. I am happy with what I got.

This is the original type, made by the son who still had them hand rolled. The two brother’s inherited their father’s recipe but they both wanted control of manufacturing. The courts in India granted them dual ownership. They could not agree on continuing the traditional method of hand rolling or the machine manufacturing. This sub brand is made by traditional methods. It burns longer and is of a better quality. The Mumbai manufacturing is machine made and imho lesser quality.

Why go to the store with this great deal! My wife loves these!

As an air freshner I prefer to use incense and I love the particular brand.

Always buy this product. Has never disappointed me. Love the fragrance.

Was very happy with how fast it got here. Sadly the boxes were a little destroyed when I got them, but it doesn't affect the scent. Love this incense.

First off the package was open and their wasn't a scent when I put it to my nose so I lit one and it totally smelt like burning wood no fragrance at all very disappointing I've been trying many seller's lately to find that wonderful nag champa fragrance and have not been able to find it .. it very disappointing

Für 250gr war es die günstigste Bestelloption, kam auch schneller als erwartet und riecht genauso wie es riechen soll - ist Original. Für mich ist das von all den Düften, die ich bisher ausprobiert habe (und es waren viele), weiterhin der angenehmste Duft. Aber ACHTUNG: Was hier nicht steht, ich musste leider leider beim Abholen von der Poststelle noch 9,95€ (!) Zollgebühren nachbezahlen, was meine anfängliche Freude ziemlich geschmälert hat. Ich glaube, das steht nämlich nirgends bei den Bestellbedingungen. Wenn ich das vorher gewusst hätte, hätte ich die Packung vielleicht nicht bestellt.

There are two versions - one from Bangalore and one from Mumbai, reflecting the division of the company into two entities. The one from Bangalore is the better one.
