Color-Glide Paint n Go - Paint Storage and Touch-Up Tubes with Paint Transfer Pumps (4-pack)

I am very OC about chips and spots in my paint jobs so I got these paint tubes to always have touchup paint available. I have one for every color I have used in the last 5 years or so and one of my first projects when moving into my house was to paint all of the interior walls which was my first time using these tubes. I haven’t really needed to do much touchup so far but today I went out to get the tube for my living room to fill a small chip made by moving furniture and I was afraid to open the tube thinking it would have hardened by now but to my surprise it was just like it was when I put it in the tube! I couldn’t believe it because I keep them in a cabinet on my back porch in South Florida so they are subjected to very high heat. I can’t give this a higher rating, you won’t be disappointed, just make sure the tops are secure and tight and you should have fresh paint for many years.

I bought this because I live in an old house and have paint chips everywhere. Who doesn't right? The concept is great. I've searched everywhere - there isn't anything even close to this good. Those stupid nailpolish bottles won't do - I mean can you honestly fill them up??? So yes these are near perfect. They hold a ton, have space to label, etc. They are great.My only complaint and perhaps this is just me is that after a lot of usage, the felt pad on every one of them fell off! So after quite a few touch-ups I had to switch over to squeezing the paint onto a foam brush and then continuing the project. It kind of defeated the purpose. It was still convenient because I had the foam brush in the house (thank goodness), but it was still easier than getting a paint can out, etc. Even at that, I would still purchase again, I just keep a little stash of foam brushes together with these so I remember for when I do my next set of touch-ups. Not a deal-breaker, just something to be aware of.

These are almost perfect. I've recently painted several rooms, cabinets & shelving. I don't like having to go to the garage and haul in a big, heavy gallon of paint for a minor touch up. I filled the tubes using the pumps which was easy & quick. I used them once, wiped off the felt applicator & stored them in the hall closet. I got them out again last week for more touch ups and 2 of the felt applicator tips came off. I wasn't surprised as I read some previous reviewers had the same problem. This really isn't a huge concern for me as from now on, I will just keep a few of the cheap foam brushes next to the tubes. I consider it a very minor inconvenience & well worth it to not have to go back to my old way of doing touch ups. I will be buying another set.

This is a pricey item for a few simple plastic tubes. However it does an excellent touch up job on textured surfaces. On smooth surfaces I need a small brush to blend the paint properly. I waited a month to write the review so I could see if the paint pads remained usable after sitting around following the first use. They were in excellent condition. The paint flows freely so one needs to be gentle when squeezing the tube. Hold the pad upright and watch the flow of paint before you use the tube the first couple of times.The pumps are awkward to use but they do get the job done without wasting paint. The pumps will get clogged if they are not properly cleaned between uses. The tubes are designed only for small touch up jobs of 4 square inches or less. I will still use a brush for anything larger.

I've had several marks in my dark teal dining room for several months. I was dreading dragging out the paint can to do touch-up. I saw this advertised on TV and decided to try it. It works great! I filled the tube with the dining room paint, then touched up the marks in the dining room wall. It worked exactly as advertised. I was able to touch up the dining room in a couple of minutes. The tube is till full, so I can touch-up again, as needed, with very little effort. This is a great idea that was implemented perfectly!

These tubes are a nice way to keep paint around gor touch ups but the picture shows a snap in wall mount which is not included! I had the perfect spot for it so I'm disappointed because they don't always stand up well, and you want to paint down toward the applicator to prevent drying out.

These don’t feel air tight, so I figured the paint I put in them would dry out. Definitely be careful to store it in a temperature controlled environment. I kept mine in a closet rather than out in a garage and in 5 years I still have the paint for little touch ups!

The product package was taped and look like it was opened. The product was easy to easy and I like that I can clean the transfer pump for storage. I like that it is small and I can stored the left over for later use.
