Floor Lamp

I bought this Capulina floor lamp and the matching wood based table lamp with nightlight. They're absolutely gorgeous. They're heavy and well made and they're obviously glass, not plastic shades. I loved the variegated colors in the shades and they show beautifully when the lamps are lit. They'd make a wonderful addition to any room. I researched Tiffany style lamps for a month before buying these and am very happy with the fact that they're hand soldered and hand cut so that each lamp is unique. Some people are a little bit unhappy with the light bulbs peeking out of the bottom of the shade, but the shade height can be adjusted with the finial and spacer that fit through the shade. I like them so much that I'm considering also buying the kitchen pendant lamp while they're still available.

I received this lamp not quite sure what to expect. What I pleasantly discovered was a lamp that is very well made and easy to assemble. The base is a cast resin - I wasn’t sure about that - but looks good and is very weighty and solid; it’s not a thin plastic base like I expected. The metal pole screws together, but it, too, is made of heavier material and feels solid and good quality. And the shade…it’s gorgeous. Not a flaw that I could find upon inspection. I’ve got the lamp resting on a carpeted floor and I was a little leery about it, but the lamp rests solidly. I can easily recommend this lamp if you’re looking for something this style.

I just received this standing floor lamp hours ago, and I cannot adequately describe how beautiful, well crafted, and easy it was to put together in just a few minutes. So, I’ll share a picture with you. I’m looking forward to the matching table lamp arriving in a few days.

This lamp exceeds my (low) expectations. It is solid and attractive. Mostly metal and glass, not cheap plastic crap. Base is "resin," which is a form of plastic, but it's solid and heavy and does not come across as plastic. Switches feel old-fashioned, in a good way -- solid and responsive to operate. I consider this lamp a good value.

My son and daughter-in-law gave me a table lamp with this same shade as a gift and I love it so much, I just had to get this matching floor lamp.It was extremely well packed and a breeze to assemble. However, unless looking at it from above, the bulbs showed beneath the shade. It annoyed me to no end and I was regretting having bought it. But my husband came to the rescue! He purchased an inexpensive lamp kit from Amazon and replaced the threaded dowel at the top with a shorter one (still leaving clearance between the shade and bulbs) and voila! It’s now perfect! Even prettier than this picture. It adds such a warm, welcoming feel to the living room that it makes me smile whenever I look at it.
