This by far is the best lock i have owned to this day! There are "NO CONS" in my opinion, ONLY PROS! 1) The price in my opinion is a total steal if you consider what you're getting. 2) It's a really nice eye catching color so besides being able to find it anywhere at anytime is great and I can say this for a fact since I am one who misplaced things alot, who doesn't lol. Also it helps with saying, hello I'm here so don't try and steal me because it isn't going to work. 3) The decible level the alarm is at is on a playing field of its own. I was able to hear this in my house when it was going off! 4) I installed it on my 29er mountain bike, which has upgraded rotors and braking system i installed and as easily used it on my electric sit down/stand up scooter too. This was finally a point in owning both modes of transportation for the past +5 years i could go somewhere and use this to lock both rotors (yes I use 2.....this one and another non-audible simultaneously since scooter $2000) and do whatever i had to without worrying of being robbed!!!! 5) It isn't limited to using only as a brake rotor lock. I use it to lock my helmet also since you get a cord with it also.....and 2 keys come with it. So all in all YES, if your looking for a lock/rotor lock this is what to buy. It is worth the money 100%. P.S AT THE TIME OF THIS REVIEW I HAVE HAD AND USED IT FOR +4 YEARS SO MY REVIEW HAS A SOLID TESTING PERIOD, ALSO ITS THE SAME BUTTON BATTERY THAT'S BEING USED!!!

Wish it was louder, but its still pretty good. Anything to make stealing my bike less convenient is a plus. Seems built really well and for sure its gonna take a would be thief some serious commitment to get past.

The box that the lock came with was damaged. The contents were not damaged however in a prior purchase I received an extra battery. The alarm is loud and the keys do work well. It look sturdy enough and the attached cable is a remainder. I use two not one, also I put a lock on the handlebars and a bicycle Unlock. Finally a tracker. This lock is easy to use, recommended.

Works great very loud when it goes off but it is really sensitive goes off in the rain

I have 4 levels of security on my bike bc I’ve had two stolen before. So i do not consider this alone good enough, but I’m also a bit paranoid. The good and bad part about this is that it’s really sensitive. If i even touch my bike it starts to go off. Obviously you want that if anyone touches your bike. But also maybe not so much when it’s a little breezy outside. It’s very loud so with my other security measures I’m hoping D bags who try to steal my bike will give up on level two or three bc of the noise. Haven’t noticed any attempts yet tho. I would give 5 stars if they made it rigged with C4 set to go off if it breaks, but whatever. Update: it at least helped prevent my bike from getting towed. Found a note saying they’d come Back for it (for being parked in a no park zone totally out of everyone’s way 🙄). Those fart lickers definitely tried to take it and gave up. So 5 stars. 👍🏻

Works good

This was bought to give added security to my motorcycle. It is easy to use and effective deterrent to keep others away from the bike. It is sensitive and will give off warning beeps when you bump into the bike or any banging noise in a few feet if the bike. If the bike is bumped with any bit of force or you try to move the handlebars, the high pitch alarm will sound off. I chose this lock over a U-Lock for the sound feature and ease of use. It's easy to install on the disk brakes and the value is well worth the minimal cost. It give a peace of mind. I would highly recommend this over the U-Lock.
