What Country is it made

Hello! We make this trimmer by ourselves. And we are in South Korea. Royal metal has made various metal products for 60years. We are strong at making nail clippers and nose hair trimmers.

Do you wind this up? Or, turn the knob while using it?

Correct, you turn the knob while using it, which rotates the blades inside the casing. The casing protects the blades.

does it work on ear hair also?

Yes. It works on ear hair too. You can use it in the same way as when you cut your nose hair.

Does this contain lead?

Question was already answered - see Amazon questions. There are no Pb symbols and no indication that it meets RoHS requirements. It is not under medical certifications as its mechanical. If it contained Pb it would be a consideration for disposal of the device and also its container as it should not be buried.
