I bought this rainbow string for my girls to play cats cradle with each other. They love it and use it everyday. Who would have thought such an inexpensive thing could entertain them for so long! They’ve not gotten tired of it yet and it’s been several months since they got it. The string is nice and smooth and does not get tangled. It does break if pulled too hard but it’s easy to melt the ends and connect it together again. After that it’s super strong and won’t pull apart again! I love the string and kept one for myself!

These cats cradle strings were just perfect for our last family reunion with all the cousins. Everyone wanted to try the neat string tricks and soon kids were teaching each other all kinds of fun things. Being multicolored is terrific for trying to teach others - you can say "grab the yellow part with your thumbs" or "pull that purple part down here" and the person you're instructing can follow right along. These strings are smooth and satisfying to fiddle with. A big hit at our house!

Seems like most cat's cradle strings are stretchy, which is weird to me. These aren't, and the colors help teach, too ("take the purple and red X and cross under the blue string" etc.) This serves the purpose, with plenty to give out to friends that now want to learn, too, after hearing about our "old-fashioned" game!

Purchased as gift for granddaughter. They are very colorful.

These are an awesome value. Got these to go with the cat's cradle book i ordered so we'd have enough string rounds to go around. These are well worth the price.
