Bullet Journals
I've been using one of these as a bullet journal / agenda for the past 4 months. I split the 5 pack with a friend because it was a really good price in bulk! This journal, although the cover has peeled back a little bit at this point, is awesome! It is nice and thin so it easily fits into my purse so that I can bring it everywhere I go. I have been putting one week on two pages at a time, with two pages at the beginning of the month to be used as a monthly calendar and date reminder. Just one of these journals has lasted me from mid August to now, and it seems like it will not run out of space until the beginning of February. I've tried a lot of pre-made journals before and although it takes time to trace out your weeks and months, I love the versatility and simplicity of it, and I will be buying again when I run out

Exactly what I need for the purpose I intended
I purchased this item for bullet journalling & it's exactly what I wanted: No frills, Easy on the eyes, Plain craft exterior, dots for line guidance. You're free to decorate the exterior, or not. That's the beauty. Otherwise I'm just fine with other people not knowing it's my journal. Paper is good quality& depending on what types of pens or pencils you're using will depend on the results you get. It stands up to daily usage pretty well since I'm not pulling it out every 5 min. For reference, I am using colored pencils and Pentel EnerGel pens. The EnergGels do not bleed through but I can see through page. It's a bullet journal not an art piece so I'm fine with it. It is exactly what I need for the purpose I intended.

They are what they look like they are.
These are good notebooks. They are small and easy to decorate if you want to, and fit easily into a stack of books so I can take notes on the go. And they look nice in a row on a shelf. They are not top-quality, but I wasn't looking for that; they aren't pretentious. They are what they look like they are, and they go with a Lamy Safari pen rather than a MontBlanc (which I also love, but not for taking notes on the subway), if that makes sense. This wasn't my first pack, and I am frequently looking for things I like better than what I'm using. I expect to buy more. I like the dots: you can use them in lieu of lines or grids and they don't mess up photocopies, should you happen to write something brilliant enough to Xerox for your friends. :) I recommend 'em.

It's not 'lay flat binding'
The most important thing to me when I purchase notebook is that whether it can be flat when i open it. This is not one of them. I was very disappointed by that. I have to hold the right side down very hard to write something on the left side. The seller should take out 'lay flat binding' from its description. Overall quality is good though.

I highly recommend these notebooks to students, writers, and researchers.
I just received my pack of notebooks and I love them. They are a nice size and weight and tuck away easily. The paper doesn't allow for ink to bleed or smudge, it doesn't show though the opposite side. I can fold the cover back without any pages popping out. Even better: Sharpies do not bleed through the cover, and stickers remain affixed rather than falling off covered in fuzz. These are my first dot journals, so I'm still adjusting to that. Next time I order notebooks (and they will be *these*), I will probably go for lined. If this company ever offers a combination pack, I will definitely go for that.

Excellent general use everyday notebooks
High quality paper that doesn't bleed, even when using a fountain pen.Cover is a thin cardboard-like material that is light and does the job well. The notebook folds flat and is super easy to write on.Due to being very affordable, these have become my go-to notebooks for general use.I wasn't a huge fan of the dot grid since I do mostly note taking without any diagrams or sketches. The ruled notebook is my favorite of all the ones I've tried.I did have a minor minor mixup with my order but Zeb (Title: maker at Northbooks) contacted me and was extremely courteous, prompt, and professional. From our interaction, Norhbooks seems like a great company I would love to continue doing business with.

Definitely on my go-to list now! I'm hooked!!
I am very pleased with these notebooks. Paper quality is outstanding, and these are definitely on my "go-to" list now. I'm into journaling, and these are so perfect. Will definitely be a return buyer. Highly recommended for serious or leisure journal aficionados. Paper has the perfect thickness, easy to write on, dots are in obtrusive and very helpful. Lots of pages in these notebooks! Worth the cost, and the binding is secure. Pages will never fall out. These notebooks are perfect for A5 TNs (you know, with the elastics). I'm a huge fan of these.

The binding is like a book, not a brochure
I love the feel of these books. The size, paper texture, and binding. The books are sturdy as well, which I need as someone who takes them everywhere. They can take a beating and still keep my thoughts safe and free from harm. I use the dot grid books for everything. They are also perfect for bullet journaling as the thick binding allows for adding descriptions that are easily readable when the books are lined up on a shelf if you need to go back into your archives for something.

Good - but not fountain pen friendly
I bought these to use in my travellers notebook cover and it is good to have double the pages that most other journal refills have, meaning they will last longer before I have to swap them out and notes will be carried with me for longer. The stitching is nice and the notebooks look and feel very good quality. My only real disappointment is that the paper is certainly not fountain pen friendly, with a considerable amount of bleed through and sometimes feathering depending on the pen/ink, which is a real shame and probably means that I will not buy them again. Gel pens are ok.

Molto!
