Learn Bharatanatyam: Natya Vardhini

Exquisite dancer, choreographer, teacher, and recipient of many awards, Srekala Bharat has a few DVDs on Bharatanatyam lessons. Each video deals with different aspects of this South Indian classical dance. In this particular program of Innovations, Tillana, and Kavadi Sindhu, she covers some very difficult lessons and performances by two of her advanced, highly skilled students. Her love for the art, knowledge of technical skills, and teaching competence are very evident throughout this delightful show.The delightful choreography of superb talent is evident in her dance/drama of Kannagi. The Tillana and Kavadi Sindhu by the two beautiful students reveal not only their discipline, capabilities and hard work, but also the teacher's commitment to these incredible art forms of Bharatanatyam.Many thanks to Srekala and best wishes to her students, who are accomplished dancers and do their own performances.
